⭐️🌞 Reach for the Stars turned into Reach for the Sun on 8 August 2025 when Star Clubber Kyle, Coach Support Jemma, Chapplehurst Mozique, El Presidentay Stew and Founder Sharon crossed the border into QLD for the Australian Amateur Owner Rider National Dressage Championships at QSEC (Queensland State Equestrian Centre).

Kyle and his horse “Mozi” competed in the Virtus FEI Para Grade IV Novice A continuing his run of over 60% - Judge C: 64.750, Judge E: 62.00%, giving a final score of 63.375% and a Second Place. 🥈

Unfortunately “Mozi” came up a bit lame thereafter so Star Clubber Kyle and Coach Support Jemma made the decision to scratch from the Inter A because “Mozi comes first”. We are so lucky to have such fantastic Coach Support at Star Club and Jemma is definitely one of them, supporting both Star Clubber and Horse in many situations. 🫶🏻

The Presentation that evening was very inclusive with prizes for all and Virtus, Equestrian Queensland, Dressage Queensland, Para-Equestrian QLD
and Equestrian Australia ALL on the presentation backdrop with Sponsor Dr Show. 🙌🏻

Congratulations to Sarah who won the Virtus Championship receiving a beautiful rug (sponsored by Caboolture Dressage Group), Para-Equestrians Sandi-Leigh, Ingrid, Brooke, Raeleen and Timothy (who also received rugs) and all the competitors who welcomed us, especially Tracey. It was also so lovely to catch up with Sarah’s mum Deb and finally meet Bernard (a long time supporter of Star Clubber). Thank you to Wendy from Equine Edge Rehab for her laser treatment of “Mozi”, Judges Connie Murray and Kay Paulson, scribes, Fiona Loggie Photography, stewards and volunteers, and Trish Sellers and Keith Smith for generously sponsoring the Riders Welcome Dinner. 🙏🏻

A special thanks and shout out to Neil and Jen from Dr Show not only for sponsoring the event but also encouraging and supporting Star Clubber Kyle. Kyle was very lucky to receive the Dr Show Mascot, Rocky, which Kyle needed to “adopt and name”. He named him “Suds” which we think is perfect for a Mascot representing Shampoo, Conditioner, Detangler and more.

With Star Clubbers making their mark at venues across NSW, Victoria and now sunny QLD , you never know where we will be shining next! 🌞⭐️

⭐️ Its always exciting when trialing a new School Horse and Star Clubbers Ivy, Kelly and Kyle got to do that last week. Meet “Pharaoh” who we think will be another one of our Star Equines. Currently paddock condition, but 1 ride with Coach Support Jemma, 1 ride with Star Clubber Kyle, a lunge from Coach Support Shannon, 1 ride with Star Clubber Ivy, then Kel over 3-4 days, and he didnt put a hoof wrong!

Star Clubber, Hope, is starting her Star Club journey too, riding “Cody”. Definitely some new beginnings for all at Star Club Tamworth. ❤️⭐️

⭐️ It was a clear morning at Star Club, Singleton …. Until 2:58 pm with Star Day starting at 3:00 pm … then it poured! ☔️

With her goal getting closer and closer Star Clubber Maddie was determined to ride - rain, hail or shine, or even more rain!

Donning a Team Star waterproof vest (thank you NSW Equissage - Bec Hepburn), Maddie practiced like a true Star that she is. By the end we were all looking like drowned rats, but to see the determination in Maddie’s eyes to get the job done made it all worthwhile… and Maddie was smiling throughout! ⭐️

⭐️ Day 3 of the Regency Floats Dressage NSW NSW Dressage Championships - Saturday 16 August 2025.

It was Freestyle fun for Star Clubber Kyle and Chapplehurst Mozique with just under 60% but this only proved that we need to tweak the freestyle as over the past 12 months Kyle’s riding and Mozi have changed, improved and progressed to the point we need a freestyle update … and isn’t that the goal !

With 6-8 weeks of travelling for this Member of Team Star - an impressive 10500+ KMs ! - Star Clubber Kyle has competed at Willinga Park, Sydney International Equestrian Centre, QSEC (Queensland State Equestrian Centre) and Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre in some of Australia’s most prestigious equestrian events, scoring everytime anywhere from 60.6% - 66% from multiple judges (2-3 in each test) in his Novice A and Inter A tests (not including an impressive 68% and 73% at local comps at Tamworth Dressage Club and Singleton Dressage Club respectively).

What an amazing acheivement! ⭐️

Congratulations and thanks to Coach Support Jemma from Star Club, Tamworth/ New England Equine who has driven, flown and walked a million miles with Star Clubber Kyle, Mozi and Team Star over the past 2 months - Star Club’s Support Coaches are indeed the most dedicated, committed and passionate people we know, ensuring each and every Star Clubber reaches for the Stars.

To Coach Support Shannon who holds down the fort at Star Club, Tamworth whilst Jemma is away, you deserve a medal (and a day off!).

Thank you Star Support Coach Jamie, Star Clubber Jodin and family for looking after the real “Suds” and ensuring Star Club, Singleton ran smoothly (even though it rained and rained and, well, rained in the Hunter).

Neil and Jen at Dr Show, once again, thank you for inspiring Kyle and everyone you meet.

To the Judges for the Freestyle (Nell, Julie and Connie) thank you for your fabulous feedback, to the scribes who sat in that cold indoor, Stewards Pam and Liz (always there with a smile), the Volunteers, Dressage NSW, Regency Floats, Emma and Shelly at AELEC and Karen Lever, thank you for a great 3 days.

Do It For Dolly Day at Salt Ash Sporting for Star Clubbers Jodin & Maddie.
Hard Day at the office for Maddie cos Jodin didn't listen to Coach Jamie aka Mum when she said AP saddle not fender so this afternoon we will try that!! Koda has been pushing Maddies boundaries, shes been stressed, but she has listened to both Jamie & Jodin and pushed through!! Well Done Maddie 💙💛💙
Ammo & Jodin have been a bit bulldozer like but its still fun!!

⭐️ Day 2 of the Regency Floats Dressage NSW Inc NSW Dressage Championships - Friday 15 August 2025

Star Clubber Kelly popped into AELEC to support Star Clubber Kyle, Coach Support Jemma and Chapplehurst Mozique … AND she got to meet Olympian Jayden Brown!

Jayden introduced Kelly to his horses Quincy B aand Leopold which was truly special for Kel. She then went and watched Jayden ride Leopold in the Advanced 5.3, which they were =First (we reckon Kel must have been goodluck!)

Star Clubber Kyle and his horse, Chapplehurst Mozique, were back in the
Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre’s Indoor, competing in the FEI Para Grade IV Inter A test, scoring 63.4%
(C Judge: 62.3% and E Judge: 64.5%) placing Second. A Test Kyle has struggled with (4 loop serpentine, 20 m circles, 10 m circles, 10 m half voltes) so he was happy with 63.4 as its another improvement!

With thanks to Dressage NSW, Judges Connie Murray and Nell Marshman, Scribes, Stewards Liz and Pam, all the Riders and friends supporting Kyle, and Furneys Stockfeeds Tamworth for Mozi’s feed delivery. Congratulations Virtus II3 Rider Grace and Paras Brooke, Felicity and Stewart all placing first in their tests.

A special thank you to Coach Support Jemma from Star Club, Tamworth/New England Equine. The confidence, improvement in our Star Clubbers riding and the increase in Team Stars’ scores is proof Jemma is a STAR indeed!
