Publishing a book? Oh, the places you’ll go!

All I had to do was fix a grammar slip and change two photo captions. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy?

Yeah, it took me six failed attempts.

Turns out “Pete Harris” and “Mr Peter Alexander Harris” are not the same person (at least to Amazon). A rookie mistake that doubles as a solid “Minus Aura” moment.
So now the book wears the full, fancy pants name: “Mr” Peter Alexander Harris —because apparently, I’m the kind of guy who argues with himself online.
On the bright side, if you got one of the OG “Pete Harris” copies, hold onto it. One day it’ll be worth a fortune. *
(*It won’t. Ever.)
Thanks for the support. I’ve had readers as far as South Australia now and continue to get wonderful feedback.

So You Got F*cked Up is now going to be stocked in three bookshops across three different towns.
Unsuspecting eyes might be caught off guard by a title with a story behind it.
Want it in your local library? Just ask — it’s available to all libraries and bookstores.

The first and second print runs have sold out. Third has arrived and is on its way out the door and in the mail.

A couple of quiet goals ticked off this week—handed a copy to a hospital for a patient who I hope will benefit, and saw it land on a shelf I once imagined it sitting on. Thanks Renee. That's a frame worthy shot!

There’s even been interest from a bookstore and a private hospital café who want to stock it.

Chip away long enough at your goals and eventually chunks will fall.

Book launch...Done!
Massive thanks to everyone who came out of the winter weather, grabbed a book, or just pretended they weren't there for the beer.
Launching So You Got F*cked Up in a brewery turned out to be on point. More and more so as the afternoon rolled on.
First print run? Gone. Sold out. You magnificent animals. I've had some amazing feedback so far.
Second batch lands early next week, and a third’s already on the way.
Family and friends travelled far and wide to get there and that was so highly appreciated.

Massive thanks to everyone who jumped in early. Felt pretty bloody cool handing this stack over at the post office.
In a beautifully timed backhanded compliment, Australia Post jacked up their prices overnight, so I’ve had to bump up shipping a bit to match. Classic.
If you got in early – well played. If not, blame the postie. I've let the local magpies know so they can use it for inspo come spring.

The books are here!
First shipment just arrived. Some have been wrapped ready to roll. It’s all a bit surreal.
Some copies are heading out early, and there’ll be others at the launch. No pressure at all to grab one—but if you’re keen, cash is easy. Payhip works too (you’ll just need your phone and card details on the day or order prior).
Also—if you're in Armidale and want a copy, order before Sunday and select local pickup at checkout. I’ll have family heading up and can take a few, which saves you the postage cost.
