I’ve been a bit quiet on my business socials lately due to some big life events, including planning for one of the most exciting moments of my life—my wedding on February 7th!

This past weekend, I had the best time celebrating my hens with all my favorite people. While I’ll still be working in the lead-up to the big day, my availability is limited, so be sure to book ahead to secure your spot.

I didn’t expect to need a post about my cancellation policy, but here we are.

When booking an appointment with me, please use the link provided. It requires card details, not because I want to take your money, but to ensure you agree to my cancellation policy. This policy is clearly displayed during booking and signed at your first appointment.

I believe my policy is fair and, as a business owner, it’s necessary for several reasons.

Here are 5 tips to help you get the most out of your massage treatments…

1. Relax your muscles and mind. This will allow me to work the muscle more deeply and effectively. It will also help reduce stress related tension.

2. Breath normally. Don’t hold your breath. This will ensure your muscles and tissues get a consistent supply of oxygen which is essential for their function and repair. It will also assist with reducing muscle tension .

3. Drink plenty of water before and after your treatment. Drinking lots of water before will help maintain good blood flow to the muscles worked. Post treatment, it will assist with the removal of toxins and waste products from muscles into the bloodstream. Drinking water helps flush these out of your system, reducing the likelihood of fatigue and soreness.

4. Regular stretching and movement in between treatments. This will maintain and improve your flexibility to reduce the chances of injury.

5. Book regular appointments. There are many reasons why you should have regular appointments. Just to name a few, you will have consistent relief from muscle tension, improved circulation, reduce stress.

A little bit about me….

My name is Caitlin aka Caity. I love the gym and early mornings! You’ll find me there at 5:30am most mornings. You may also see me running or walking around town either zoned out to music while running or a podcast while I’m walking.

I’ve been working in the fitness industry since 2018 at 24Fit where I began my coaching and PT journey. I have now moved up in the ranks and am currently managing the gym. What was once my side job is now my main job. I love learning new things about the body which is when I decided I wanted to start massaging! I studied for an intense 12 months through Evolve College to complete my Diploma in Remedial Massage.

Here I am now absolutely loving where I am in life! Massage appointments are now available on Monday and Tuesday afternoons. 🌼
