Today, on Aged Care Employee Day, we pause to honour you — the heart and soul of Clayton Church Homes.

Each day, you walk alongside our residents in some of the most personal, vulnerable, and meaningful moments of their lives.

You offer not just care, but comfort. Not just support, but dignity. You do it with strength, humility, and deep humanity — and you do it even when no one is watching.

What you give can’t be measured in tasks completed or hours worked. It’s measured in the quiet smiles you create the trust you build, and the lives you uplift. This work matters. You matter.

On behalf of the Executive, the Board, and the entire CCH community — thank you. Thank you for choosing to show up each day with heart, purpose, and unwavering commitment.

Cabaret star, actress and Helpmann Award nominated performer Michaela Burger performed at Magill, Woodside, Summerhill and Park Village as part of the CCH Cabaret event. Michaela delighted audiences with French chanson and musical theatre delights. Residents, families, friends and staff sang along, clapped and danced to the magnificent concert and enjoyed croissants, coffee and delicious pastries after the show. CCH Summerhill residents were thrilled to be treated to a pop-up Cabaret concert last week. Adelaide Fringe Award Winner Lindsay Prodea performed songs from his 'Best Cabaret 2025' show, 'A Friend of Dorothy'. Complete with a stunning set list, entertaining stories and a outrageous feather boa, Lindsay had everyone laughing and singing along.

At CCH Park Village, we proudly celebrated Africa Day — a day that honours African independence and embraces the rich tapestry of cultures across the continent. Our celebration was more than a commemoration; it was a vibrant expression of cultural diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Staff members came together to share traditional dishes, exchange stories about their heritage, and learn about each other's customs and cuisines — offering everyone a true taste of harmony at Park Village.

The day was joyfully capped off with beautiful dancing alongside our residents, creating moments of connection, laughter, and celebration.

Together, we continue to build an inclusive environment where everyone feels seen, valued, and celebrated.

This week, Magill Manor residents ventured to Morialta Conservation Park hoping to see Koala's. Luck was on our side, in the very first tree we observed a very lively Koala having a feed on fresh gum leaves.

Residents of CCH Park Village enjoyed an amazing afternoon in the Barossa Valley, visiting Melba's Chocolates in Angaston, lunch at the Clubhouse in Tanunda and then off for some wine tasting at Kies Family Wines in Lyndoch.
A fabulous day of exploring, community and enjoying incredible South Australian food and wine.

Volunteering creates lasting relationships that enrich lives and strengthen communities. We recognise that giving to others fosters community engagement, connection and belonging.

At CCH we acknowledge the spirit of connection and the incredible impact our volunteers have in building thriving and inclusive communities.
