I’ve spent so much of my life

feeling everything
taking it on
trying to fix it

even when it was never mine to begin with

I really thought being this aware
meant I had to carry all of it

everyone’s moods
everyone’s energy
everything that felt even slightly off

but I’m starting to realise

I can care
without absorbing it

I can feel things
without letting it consume me

and honestly that’s been one of the hardest things for me to learn ❤️👽🖖
