We are so grateful to have been chosen as the charity of choice for the Bungendore team in this year’s Bungendore vs Braidwood Golf Cup.

Thank you for thinking of and supporting the work of First Steps Pregnancy Support, it truly means so much to the mums and families we walk alongside each day.

We’re looking forward to what promises to be a wonderful day of community, connection, and generosity this Sunday.

Abby is our playgroup coordinator. She runs our weekly playgroup, creating a welcoming space where little ones can explore, learn and play, while mums have the chance to connect, chat and support one another. It’s a relaxed and friendly time, open to any mum who would like to come along 🩷

Abby shared this about her experience:
“I love getting to know women who are at a similar life stage to me, but are still different to me, be it culturally, their hobbies, the way they are raising their children, etc.
I love encouraging other women in this motherhood journey that can be so difficult at times yet is always so rewarding.”

Sparrow and Lily Baby Boutique is an initiative of First Steps Pregnancy Support and is only open to the public once a week (usually Wednesday mornings), with all funds raised supporting our work caring for local Mums and babies in need.

Maree is one of the friendly faces who welcomes mums into First Steps, whether they’re visiting for an appointment, dropping in, or popping by the Baby Boutique. She helps create a calm and caring environment where every mum feels seen, supported and comfortable.

This week we are open MONDAY from 12:30 - 2:30pm (closed Wednesday). Nothing over $5!! Open to all Mums (or Dads, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles etc). Donations of good quality children's clothes also greatly welcome.

Baby Boutique Open at First Steps Pregnancy Support TODAY!

Our cute little boutique has seen some big changes recently with the renovation and set up of our expanded premises. Come and see our new space and grab a bargain. Baby/toddler clothes 00000 to size 1. Nothing over $5!

*Drop off of donations also welcome during this time - we take pre-loved good quality baby and maternity clothes and pantry items/nappies/wipes to support our Mums in need. *

A big thank you to Country Women's Association (CWA) Queanbeyan for their very generous donation which has funded a new pantry cupboard and freezer to store pantry items and frozen meals for our families!

Meals and pantry items are one of the most sought after support we provide to our Mums, and it makes such a difference for many of our families to have access to healthy and nourishing meals and food items.

We would also like to thank all of our volunteers who keep our freezer and pantry full and organised! 🩷

Connie, Grace and the team at Ciao Cafe and Cakes gifted us with a delicious cake for our recent end of year celebration. This was an extra special event as 10 of our Mums and Bubs graduated from FSPS, with their little ones reaching 18 months of age, or no longer needing support.

This celebration also coincided with our final playgroup event of the year, after a total of 33 playgroup sessions in 2025. We were grateful for our newly renovated bigger space next door because it was a full house!

**We have sourced a car seat! THANK YOU!**

We’re reaching out to our beautiful community to see if anyone is able to help support one of our First Steps mums 🩷

This young mum is needing a car seat (0–4 years) for her partner’s car to help make every day life a little easier on them.

For safety reasons, any donated car seat must be under 8 years old and not have been involved in any accidents.
