First Steps Pregnancy Support

We’re reaching out to our beautiful community to see if anyone is able to help support one of our First Steps mums.

This mum has three children under the age of 3 and is being supported by a family member. Having an extra set of car seats in her family member’s car would make day-to-day life much more manageable and remove the need to move seats back and forth several times a week.

We are currently looking for two car seats suitable for children aged 0–4 years.

For safety reasons, all seats must be under 8 years old and have not been involved in any accidents.

If you (or someone you know) have a car seat you’re no longer using and would be open to donating, we would be so grateful.

In November we are asking for donations of second hand BR**ST PUMPS in good condition that we can loan out/give to our Mums. We have one Mama who needs one fairly urgently, with her baby in NICU, and frequently have women unable to afford or access a good pump to assist with their feeding journey. If you have one you no longer need that is in good condition, please consider sending it our way! In most cases, we will organise new disposable parts so don't worry if some of the bits are missing or no longer in great condition. Help us start a much needed second hand pump service for Mums in need!

Queanbeyan's Sparrow and Lily Baby Boutique open today (Wednesday) from 930am to 1230pm.

Instead of spending $50 on one or two outfits, buy a whole pile of gorgeous pre-loved things, with every dollar spent supporting local Mums in need. Come and have a browse!

We also love receiving donations of items you no longer need (baby clothes up to size 1 and Maternity items), so keep us in mind when doing your next clear out.
