Sister from the same mister 💙

We saw a wee octopus, a cartoon like rubber lipped pufferfish hiding in a crevice, a big ol reddy purple crab, a school of pencil fish and we were watched from below by a group of squid.

Have you ever been stared at by a squid?

We then saved the reef from 3 deadly kina (urchins)

The ocean is such a dreamscape. What a bonkers place 💙🐬💤

Forecast looked good, found a kayak for sale 3 doors down, prepped the sound gear and off we go.


Loved listening to the crackling reef and waves whooshing underwater. Getting prepared for the main event 🌟🌟

This is one of the things I do to remain in tune. This makes me happy, this makes me feel alive. I make good decisions after self care like this 👌🏽👌🏽

Just a little info here on what's potting this week at Soundwaves Noosa!

So Mum's day is on Sunday. When I think 'mum' I think cuddles, guidance, warmth and sometimes verbal warnings of danger (and food that's bad for you 😅)
So going along with that definition, I know a lot more mums than just the mums with kids.

The nurturers who are looking after their ill partners, the single dads, the ones that have chosen a life without kids and the ones that didn't choose that path and are still trying. The siblings, the women that lost an unborn soul and the adult children caring for their parents.

The journey of self care and care for others extends so far out! We all give and we all deserve to be nurtured in order to care some more.

If I can offer an hour to someone that may help them relax so that they can pass it on to someone else - then that is a win win situation 💙
