This long weekend we celebrate very special guests at Catalina! Players in the 51st annual NSW Indigenous Knockout competition!

This year the annual event will bring together over 30,000 players and spectators from across the state for this unforgettable event at Tuggerah. This fast-paced, high-calibre tournament is a celebration of culture, camaraderie, and community spirit.

Beyond the fierce competition, the Knockout is a cherished opportunity for families to reunite and for players to showcase their incredible skills on the field. It's a reminder that sports can be a powerful vehicle for bringing communities together, fostering connections, and celebrating heritage.

With our close ties to not-for-profit organisation Disability Life Enrichment, Catalina is proud to raise awareness for the National Week of Deaf People.

This week-long national event is a celebration of Deaf individuals and the Australian Deaf community, providing an opportunity for Deaf people to celebrate their communities, language, culture and history; make the public aware of their local, state and national Deaf communities; and to recognise their achievements.

Join us in spreading awareness for the Deaf community and National Week of Deaf People – September 19 – September 25.
