WE ARE HIRING!!

Mighty CARE Services is seeking MIGHTY female support workers for a female client in one of our SIL homes located in Doolandella QLD.

This role is casual to begin however, we are seeking staff looking for a long-term career in an ever evolving industry that nurtures and supports NDIS participants with passion and compassion using a person centred approach in all aspects of our work.

Whilst we value your experience and training, In-House training is offered to add to your current skillset as part of your role with Mighty Care Services.

We had an amazing experience participating in our first Disability Expo this past weekend! The event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with many inspiring individuals and learn more about the diverse needs within our community.

A huge thank you to the organisers for putting together such an impactful event, as well as to our dedicated Mighty Care team and the incredible volunteers who helped make our participation possible. We truly enjoyed the great conversations and new connections we made.

We are looking forward to more opportunities to support our community!

We had an amazing day 2 networking and collaborating with other service providers. The atmosphere was electric as people showcased their dancing skills to the music, smiles lighting up their faces. Some got their hair braided, while others enjoyed face painting. A huge thanks to everyone who made the event truly unforgettable.

Weather Updates!

As most of you will be aware, Tropical Cyclone Alfred is approaching the South East Queensland Coast, and is expected to hit Thursday night or Friday morning.
Mighty Care Services wants to help ensure everyone's safety.

Please take note of these essential safety measures:

1. Essential Supplies: Stock up on non-perishable food and water to last a minimum of 3-4 days.

2. Important Documents: Secure vital documents (ID, health records, passport, insurance documents) in waterproof containers.

3. Travel Caution: Avoid driving unless absolutely necessary. Conditions can change quickly, leading to unsafe roads.

4. Stay Updated: Keep informed with real-time weather updates, Government announcements and reliable media sources.

5. Emergency Contacts: Ensure your emergency contacts are up to date and your phones are fully charged.

Should you need assistance, our staff is available 24/7. Please reach out to your coordinator if you require support. Stay safe and prepared!
