Gymnastics was fantastic on Monday! The crew had lots of fun tumbling, trampolining, and moving their bodies. Working at a 1:1 or 1:2 capacity, it was great to see them exercising choice and control by selecting their preferred activity either before or after the session. šŸ¤øšŸ¤øā€ā™€ļø

Weā€™ve had the privilege of supporting our friend since the very beginningā€”our second participant. For over a year, Ben was his only support, and now Matt consistently shows up for him too.

Just four weeks ago, he was too anxious to leave the little pool. Last week, Matt supported our friend to dive under the waves and even ventured halfway out into the surf. The joy on his face says it allā€”he absolutely loved it!

What an incredible year you have brought to us at Summit Abilities! From your perspective as a mother and advocate, you have exemplified how to support and care for someone you love with a disability. Your empathy, passion, and dedication shine through in everything you do.

Sam works passionately 1:1, providing nothing but high-quality care, love, and respect. She brings fresh ideas that others havenā€™t thought of before and is always up for an adventure and community engagement. Whether itā€™s creating vegetable patch gardens or making pasta from scratch, Samā€™s creativity, skills, and dedication are highly recognized and deeply valued by all of us.
