Hi all!

My name is Elaine, I am one of the Directors with Complex Care and Support Services – a Disability support provider located in Logan and providing services to participants in Brisbane south and north, Logan and Gold Coast.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU READ THE AD AND ACTUALLY HAVE WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a few new Support Workers (Casual or ABN Rates) with a passion for assisting NDIS participants. You must want to be in the role and assist participants

We’re Looking For:

• People passionate about supporting people with disabilities

• People must have experience and be open to working with participants with complex behaviours and some violent tendencies

• NDIS Worker Screening card (valid)

• Working with children card (valid)

• People with strong English and communication skills required due to participant intellectual disabilities and communication disorders - THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST I’M SORRY BUT CLIENTS FIND IT DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND ANYONE WITH ANY ACCENT

• Be willing to assist participants with personal care such as toileting, showering, etc

• Driver’s license holders with a reliable vehicle

• Current first Aid and CPR and various certifications including NDIS worker modules, medication training and restrictive practice and behaviour support training or ability to get these asap
