Wonderful news from the EMDR Europe conference! Elan Shapiro has received Trauma Aid Europe’s Humanitarian award for 2024. He developed the wonderful R-TEP and G-TEP protocols to help more people sooner, after large scale traumas. He is a generous teacher and mentor who continues to inspire us all. I’m proud to provide his training in Australia and to join with my colleagues around the world to promote his vision and values. Thank you Elan and congratulations on your award👏👏👏

What a pleasure to be presenting at the conference in Sydney with Robyn Miller CEO at . We support staff impacted by trauma at work through our EMDR Early Intervention program. The research showed that our stepped model of care promotes staff healing and is an important component of a safer care system. It was inspiring to hear the amazing outcomes of other MacKillop programs with families at risk. Congratulations Heather Morrison and Andrea Dunbar for your brilliant presentation. And thanks to all our colleagues who make this work possible! 👏👏👏👏

In 2017 I was a proud recipient of a joint fellowship with my friend and colleague Sue-Anne Hunter. We travelled to USA, Canada and Cambodia to investigate the role of EMDR with First Nations Peoples. It transformed our thinking and continues to inspire us.
