It’s Jean Hailes for Women's Health Week, and this year’s theme is “Say yes to you”.

Each day is focused on a different health topic to help women prioritise their health and wellbeing.

✔️Every check matters - Stay up to date with all of your health checks.
💡Take the lead - By preparing yourself with the right tools and knowledge, you’ll get the most out of your appointments.
❤️Heart smart - Heart disease affects women in ways that are often overlooked, so adding this to your regular health check is really important.
💪Pain to power - You don’t have to push through pain alone – it’s not just part of being a woman.
🧠Be kind to your mind - Caring for your body is important, but so is looking after your mind.

Did you know we have our very own women’s health specialist at AccessHC Doncaster? Dr Lee Mey Wong is available for appointments every Wednesday between 9:30am-3:30pm.

Today is International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD)—the world's biggest campaign to end overdose.
This year's theme is 'One big family, driven by hope' 🕯️

We're remembering those who've died— and honour their lives without stigma or judgement.

We also acknowledge the pain these losses cause for the families, friends, and communities left behind.

This International Overdose Awareness Day is also a chance to remember the power of community.

When we come together, no one has to carry their grief alone. These connections also give us hope, and strength to take action.

Overdose deaths are preventable—together we can .

If you'd like to learn more about preventing overdose, or need support for yourself or a loved one, call us on: (03) 9810 3000
and ask to speak to someone from our Alcohol and Other Drugs team.

IMPACT THROUGH COMMUNICATION 💬✨

It’s Speech Pathology Week and we are celebrating the incredible role speech pathologists play in helping people thrive at every stage of their lives.

Around 1.2 million Australians need support with communication and behind every person is a story, and a team of professionals making a real difference.

From young children to older Australians, speech pathologists are there, supporting wellbeing, confidence, connection, independence, inclusion and opportunity.

This week, we thank our wonderful Speechies who work with both adults and children to help them meet their communication goals. 💛
