Health promotion is for everyone! If you or someone you know wants to make sure their voice is heard, this may be of interest.

Do you identify as larger-bodied, higher weight, or fat? Have you experienced weight stigma?

Share your voice to shape size inclusive health promotion in Australia!

Size Inclusive Health Australia member, Evangeline Gardiner, a PhD candidate at the University of Queensland, is inviting larger-bodied people living in Australia to share their experiences to help shape a size inclusive approach to health promotion.

Expressions of interest to join the Lived Experience Partnership Committee are now open and will close on Tuesday 24th March 2026.

👉 More information & submit your EOI here: https://bit.ly/4saH2Yy

Your story can help shape research exploring the design and implementation of size inclusive health promotion initiatives in Australia.

Who are we?

We are experts in health and well-being for people from refugee and migrant backgrounds. We’ve been around since 1994.

We aim to improve the health and well being of people from refugee and migrant backgrounds. We do this by working with services from the health, community and local government to help improve the way they engage with their clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds We offer Capacity building training both online & in person on: - Health Literacy, Cultural Competence, Language Services, Understanding the NDIS

- Community Education on Hepatitis B, BBV & Sexual Health

CEH’s Multicultural Health & Support Service works with communities and health professionals to address the poorer health outcomes experienced by people from refugee & migrant backgrounds, asylum seekers and mobile populations. It aims to prevent HIV, viral hepatitis and sexually transmissible infections, and offer a multicultural approach to alcohol and other drug support.
