Just because you’ve had a caesarean once doesn’t mean you have to do it again. YOU have choices.

In Australia today:
• 41% of births are C-sections
• 36% of first-time mothers have a C-section
• 76% of women who had a C-section previously, have another.

But the research shows that VBAC (vaginal birth after Caesarian) is a truly safe option, not a risk-packed gamble.
• Risk of uterine rupture in spontaneous labour:
~ 0.2%
• Slightly more if induced, but still very low

A birth debrief is a calm, supportive session where we walk through your experience together, at your pace, with compassion, clarity and no judgement.

Whether your birth felt overwhelming, confusing, unexpected, or you simply have questions, you deserve the space to be heard and supported.

What we can explore together:
• What happened and why
• Your feelings and memories
• Any parts that still feel unclear
• Your birth notes (if available)
• How this experience is affecting you now
• Planning for a future birth, if relevant

You’re not “overthinking it.”
You’re not being dramatic.
Your experience matters, and it’s okay to seek understanding.

When you hire me, you’re not just getting a birth support, you’re also gaining a friend. Someone that you message when you have a question about your little one - at any age. Someone you have similar interests with. Someone you meet up at play groups with. This is a great thing about living in such a small area and working in a small area. People you get to know, you know for a long time 🙌🌼

Tomorrow I am picking up some clothes for my little one, from a client I had years ago. I love the little community that I have gained from being a doula 🥰
