What do I offer? ā¬ļøā¬ļøā¬ļø š„°
I walk beside you as you cross the unseen bridge,
From maiden to mother, breath by breath.
In the quiet hours, I hold the space,
At home, in hospital, wherever you birth your baby.
Warm water waiting, soft lights low,
A pool, a TENS, gentle tools to help you flow.
Stories shared so fear can loosen its hold,
Birth preparation, wisdom retold.
After the first cry fades into skin-to-skin peace,
I remain, so your trembling can soften and ease.
Honouring the placenta, lifeās first home,
Through prints, castings, and keepsakes of your own.
Tiny hands, tiny feet, forever remembered in clay,
Sacred reminders of the day love arrived earthside.
This is my work.
To witness.
To honour.
To hold you.
