Tanya is an experienced naturopath and iridologist specialising in thyroid imbalances and autoimmune conditions including hashimoto’s and graves disease. She has also done specialised training in woman’s health conditions and has many years of experience working with complex cases of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, adenomyosis, hypothalamic amenorrhoea, perimenopause, PMS & PMDD and male & female infertility. She began her career alongside leading naturopathic oncologist Katrina Ellis on the Gold Coast and worked as the head naturopath at Gaia Retreat & Spa in Byron Bay. She also worked as a naturopath for one of the largest integrative thyroid and hormone clinics in Australia before starting her own naturopathic clinic and dispensary. Tanya has an in depth understanding of specialised functional medicine testing including Complete Microbiome Mapping, extensive thyroid panels, OATS (Organic Acids Test), DUTCH hormone testing and mineral tissue analysis. She is well versed in DNA profiling and analysis and draws on this knowledge to understand and treat complex and chronic health conditions. She has an intuitive understanding of the human body and its energetic fields and recognises the interrelationship between the tangible and intangible aspects of the human being. When there is an imbalance in our energetic field it interrupts the flow of energy to our physical bodies, and it can manifest as illness and dis-ease.
