You’ve changed — and not by accident. 💛
Through every season, your body has adapted, carried, softened, strengthened, and grown.
Pregnancy, birth, life, stress, healing… it all leaves its mark.
But change isn’t something to undo.
It’s something to understand, support, and honour.

Oestrogen influences tissue elasticity, lubrication, bladder health, and muscle function.
During perimenopause and menopause, lower oestrogen can contribute to:
• Urgency
• Dryness
• Increased sensitivity
• Changes in strength
These shifts are common — but they’re not something you just have to accept. 💛

Pregnancy and postpartum change more than your body — they grow you in ways you never expected.
Growth isn’t always graceful.
Sometimes it’s slow. Sometimes it’s tender. Sometimes it asks you to rebuild.
You don’t have to bounce back.
You’re allowed to grow forward — supported, strong, and informed. 🌸

💫 Chi Ball 💫
I have just a few teeny tiny exercise props in my clinic and this pilates ball is one of them. They can be used to make core exercises more challenging, strengthen deep neck muscles, make pelvic floor muscles work harder and help increase range of motion.

💫 Resistance Band 💫
I don't have much in the clinic in the way of exercise equipment but I do have the resistance bands and use them regularly. They are the best little prop for glute activation and strengthening which is essential in managing aches and pains in pregnancy and postpartum such as pelvic girlde pain, back pain and hip pain.

Your pelvic floor is designed to handle load.
The key is progressive, supported loading.
Strong is protective. 💪
