Reiki is a non-invasive, gentle, yet powerful method of healing, Reiki energy (described as ‘universal life energy’) which is accessed by the practitioner during a treatment, enhances the body’s natural healing ability and promotes wellbeing (Reiki Australia). I love Reiki as it is a non-invasive treatment and wonderful for stress, anxiety and pain. It works well as a complementary therapy for someone receiving medical treatment as it does not interfere with medications or treatment. The Reiki energy goes to where the healing is needed most in the body. It has given me great satisfaction receiving positive feedback from my family and friends from the benefits they have received my Reiki sessions. This has lead me to creating this page so I can share this beautiful experience with others.

At 3am this morning I woke up and checked the babies were sleeping. Sweet! , I can do a meditation while the house is quiet and lay back quietly in bed.

I put my headphones in and follow the guided meditation about meeting your spirit guides

'Imagine you are at the beach and each step in the sand is step deeper into relaxation'

*Visualising & breathing*

Then I can hear Tucky wake up and go to the toilet.

I'm thinking, don't let this distract me, just keep going..

I'm counting my steps visualising my feet in the sand and relaxing with each breath.

Tucky then blows his nose..loudly!

Keep going I think to myself
I can do this!

The guided meditation then instructs to open the door and visualise a relaxing place like on top of a mountain.

Tucky blows his nose again.

Just breathe Mel..just relax..breathe..visualise

The guided meditation then leads to an 'elevator' so you can meet your spirit guide

Then I can feel a little person climb on the bed.

Then I hear 'MUMMY WHERE IS MY DOLLY??'

Seriously!!! It's 3AM!!!!

I wouldn't trade in these lovely distractions but had to laugh how challenging it can be just to have some time to yourself.

It's been a longtime since I've been in a highschool classroom. Today I had the pleasure of co-hosting a workshop with Lee-Ann Lee-Ann Lovegrove & The Happiness Prescription to the lovely high school counselors and staff.

Lee-Ann delivered a crash course in energy medicine and taught practical technique to de-stress. There were lots of aha moments We then discussed how essential oils can be used to maintain your vibe for the day. The session concluded with laughter yoga which was a great finish.

It was such a beautiful group. Thank you ❤️
