☔️ With the recent drop in temperatures and the large amount of rain we’ve experienced, it’s common to start seeing a few seasonal health issues appear in both people and animals. Many of these problems are predictable and, in many cases, largely preventable with a little extra care and awareness. Below are three common issues that often arise during these conditions—and the good news is that PEMF therapy can be a valuable tool to help support recovery, reduce discomfort, and keep both you and your animals feeling and functioning at your best.

1️⃣ Foot abscesses (I’ve already treated 5 over last few weeks)
When very dry, brittle hooves are suddenly exposed to moisture, the hoof softens and becomes more vulnerable. This creates the perfect opportunity for bacteria to enter, which can quickly lead to a painful abscess.
👉 PEMF Therapy is a great way to help burst or move the abscess all by encouraging blood flow.

2️⃣ Damp hay & respiratory flare-ups
Hay stored outside in hay huts or feeding rings that becomes damp can easily develop mould. Even hay that appears mostly fine may still contain enough mould spores to trigger coughing, respiratory infections, or breathing difficulties in susceptible horses.
👉 Along side veterinary help PEMF can help with respiratory flare-ups.

3️⃣ Rain, humidity & arthritis (in both humans and animals)
Changes in weather—especially increased humidity and damp conditions—can make arthritis symptoms more noticeable in both people and animals. Arthritis affects the joints, causing inflammation, pain, stiffness and reduced mobility. Whether it’s osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, the underlying issue is joint damage.
• Reducing inflammation – Chronic joint inflammation is common with arthritis, and PEMF therapy may help lower inflammatory responses.
• Improving oxygen flow – Better circulation means more oxygen and nutrients reach affected tissues, supporting healing and reducing discomfort.

✨ The Power of PEMF Therapy ✨

This beautiful mare unfortunately experienced a serious paddock accident, resulting in significant injury to her upper hind leg. It’s been a challenging journey, but with the dedication of her owner, the expertise of her veterinary team, and consistent therapy support, we have been working tirelessly to give her the very best chance at recovery.

I have been treating this mare every 2–3 weeks using PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy. Please direct message our page to book an appointment, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

📌 New Policy – Effective Immediately:
• For bookings over 20 km from Gracemere, if I am already in your area and you cancel, a 50% fee of your costs will apply.
• A lot of time, planning, and travel goes into these runs to help you and your animals.
• Last-minute cancellations will no longer be accepted, as this also takes away an appointment time from someone else.

⚡ Power Access Required:
Please ensure there is access to power for the machine.
If power is not available, let us know in advance and we can bring a generator (additional fee applies).

🐎 Horse Safety Notice:
If your horse is known to kick, bite, strike, pull back, or behave unpredictably, please inform us when booking so we can put safe measures in place for ourselves and our equipment.

📍 New Destinations Welcome:
If there is a location you would like to see us visit, please send us a message and we’ll do our best to make it happen, provided there is an adequate number of horses to be treated in that area.
