💚 A special visitor at LiveLife Russell Island 💚

On Wednesday we had the sweetest surprise in store, a carer from Russell Island Wildlife Rescue brought in an adorable little joey. This tiny one was sadly orphaned after its mum passed away, but thanks to the LiveLife Community Support Program, our donation helped fund its transport to the mainland for the specialist care it needs.

The carer brought the joey in to say thank you and it was such an amazing moment.
Seeing the real impact our community support can make right there in my arms was incredibly special.

📸 COMPETITION TIME 📸

The LiveLife Pharmacy group is running a group‑wide photography competition, with 12 winning images to be featured in the 2027 LiveLife Calendar. I would love to see Russell Island featured!

We’re up against some idyllic locations like Port Douglas, Noosa and Airlie Beach, but Russell Island has its own distinctive beauty. I think its beauty is in the interesting people, the wildlife that surrounds us and of course the amazing sunsets!

Some ideas that capture the spirit of the island include:
• The cute curlews
• The community art mural
• The resident chicken at the RSL
• The huge goanna on the roof of someone’s house
• Our musicians and artists
• Stunning sunsets
