Shingles is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox. It can occur in adults who have had chickenpox before.

Did you know? Shingles is more common in people over 50.
It can cause a painful rash and discomfort that may interfere with daily activities.

Who may be eligible for shingles vaccination?
✅ Adults aged 65 years and over under the National Immunisation Program (NIP)
✅ People aged 18 years and over who are immunocompromised
✅ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50 years and over

📣 Early Closure for Staff Training – Wednesday 25th Feb

LiveLife Pharmacy Russell Island will be closing at 4pm on Wednesday 25th February so our team can take part in important staff training.

Pharmacy update: Lotto has officially left our store and will be back in action at the Russell Island Post Office from Monday, 15th December.

We’ll continue to focus on your health and wellbeing, but Lotto enquires will now need to go directly to the Post Office team once they reopen.

🌿Farewell Kalab🌿

Next week we say goodbye to Kalab, who’s heading to Nowra to be closer to family.

Kalab has been part of our LiveLife team from the beginning, and it’s hard to imagine the place without him. He’s been the one we’ve turned to when something needed fixing or when we needed a laugh. His steady presence and dry humour will be missed.
