This February we are taking a special outdoor fat loss challenge especially for women in Malvern East.
Package includes:
👍🏼6 outdoor group workouts every Saturday Feb 3rd to Mar 10.
👍🏼Weight and bodt fat taken on the first and last session with a prize for the challenge winner.
👍🏼6 week nutrition and health plan.
👍🏼 A 20 Minute workout plan for home.
👍🏼Access to closed Facebook group to keep you on track with your goals and for real time assistance with weight loss

By popular request for an earlier time, January times for outdoor training will be
8:00am Sunday training with Kash.
*Beginning this Sunday 31st Dec*
Sessions will be a mix of interval training, aerobic and strength-endurance.
Difficulty level: intermediate-advanced.

Here we show Bootcamp By The Bay regular Joni demonstrating the curtsy lunge in fine form (as usual! 👏🏼).
This move is often demonised as dangerous for knees, but as long as it is performed correctly and the range of motion used is appropriate for the individual, it is perfectly safe, and in fact, actually IMPROVES knee stability and protects them from injury long term.

Here is Joni- a regular bootcamp participant who was lovely enough to let us film her demonstrating this excellent technique of how to use movement in order to improve flexibility and range of motion in the glutes and outer hip area.

This is instead of static stretching.

We frequently use active stretching techniques like this one as 'recoveries' during a session, rather than just letting clients stand around.

This maximises the opportunity for a high volume of training, meaning more calories will be burnt during and after the workout.

It is super important to make sure your is truely interval training- with adequate recoveries.

Joni is an an expert in understanding when she needs to take an active recovery, so the heart rate can drop, ready for the next round!

Last Saturday was a particularly hot day and it will be this Saturday too, making recoveries and hydration even more important.
