Chardys wellness journey update.
It’s been quite a long road to finally getting the all clear.
Squamous cell carcinoma resulted in an amputation of her toe and then a lymph node removal that was thankfully negative. This week marked her return back to the play arena hence the upside down pic at the end of the day.

Chardy is on a gut protocol to bring her immune system back to peak but she is back to her happy self

Our dogs need you! 🐶

Right now, we urgently need warm blankets to keep our dogs comfortable as the nights grow colder.

These blankets go directly on their beds to give them warmth, softness, and a something to snuggle into during nap time. 😴

153 dogs are currently in our care at RSPCA SA, and only a handful are ready for adoption - the rest are under prosecution hold, receiving vet treatment, or staying with our foster families.

If you’re able to help, we’d be so grateful!

Time to put the spotlight on so called ‘prescription’ diets. This is not in any way to be judgemental of pet owners, you only know what you know & what your professionals have told you.

Unfortunately, unless they have done extra study, vets DO NOT study nutrition & in my business so many of the issues I see with dogs could be managed with a healthier diet, including allergies, anxiety, hyperactivity, aggression & fear.

The bad news is your hypoallergenic, an-allergenic, kidney care, dental care, gastrointestinal diets are probably causing more harm than good and costing you a pretty penny to boot.

The good news is after reading through these articles and watching these videos you can make more informed choices for your dogs health.

My darling girl has had a bit of a rough journey for the last three months trying to get answers.

Big thanks to DrG Mobile Vet & Dr Richard and his lovely staff from Adelaide Veterinary Surgical Services this week that have helped get her on the road to recovery

She is home now after surgery and a Wellness Gut Protocol to get her back to her old happy healthy self 🐶🐾🖤

She was happy to have some breaky today after fasting all day yesterday and to a lab that’s torture 🖤🐾
