Most families don't know what happens next.

When you reach out, there's no complicated process waiting for you. Just a conversation.

We sit together, listen carefully, and ask the kinds of questions that bring a person's story to life. From there, we craft a ceremony that truly reflects who they were.

From first contact to the service itself, most families are guided through everything within three to five days.

If you're wondering what to expect, we're always happy to talk it through. ❤️

"She finally felt seen."

That's what a daughter told me after her mother's farewell.

She said she'd been worried. Worried the service would feel generic, like her mum was just another name on a list.

It wasn't.

We spent time together. She shared stories I never could have guessed. The way her mum hummed while she gardened. The stubborn streak that everyone secretly admired.

All of it found its way into the ceremony.

That's what I'm here for. Not to deliver a script, but to honour a life the way it deserves to be honoured. ❤️

If your family is facing a farewell and you want someone who will truly listen, I'd be glad to help.

Most families don't know where to begin. That's exactly where we start together.

When you reach out, we sit down with you for about an hour. Not to ask difficult questions, but to listen. To hear the stories, the quirks, the moments that made your loved one who they were.

From there, we find what we call the "Golden Thread". The one quality or value that ran through their whole life. It becomes the heart of the ceremony, weaving every story and memory into something that truly feels like them.

Within three to five days, a personalised ceremony is ready. One that reflects a real life, not a generic farewell.

You don't need to have it all figured out. That's our job, and it's one we take seriously. 💐

If you're not sure what the process looks like or what to expect, we're always happy to have a quiet conversation. No pressure, just guidance.

When someone you love dies, it can feel impossible to think clearly.

If you are in that first wave of grief and trying to plan a funeral or memorial in North or North West Tasmania, please know this: you do not have to carry it alone.

My role as a funeral celebrant is to listen, gather the stories, and help you create a ceremony that feels true to who your person was, not just what they achieved.

If you would like a calm, caring guide through the next few days, you are welcome to reach out via message or through my website.

Distance is no barrier to a heartfelt goodbye. ❤️

It was a profound privilege to celebrate Winifred's amazing 99-year journey alongside Shaun and the team at Vincent Funeral Services.

This was a truly unique experience for us all. Despite the majority of the organisation being handled by her family in the UK, we gathered with an intimate group in the chapel, while the rest of her loved ones joined us via livestream from England.

Bridging the "two halves" of Winifred’s world—from her Yorkshire roots to her years in Tasmania—was a special honour. It proved that whether there are five people in the room or five hundred online, the power of a shared story remains the same.

Receiving such lovely feedback from Chris and Anna in the UK reminds me why I love what I do. Thank you for trusting us to be your hands and heart here in Australia for Winifred’s final "full-circle" story. 🕊️🌍

I have done services in all the chapels since the upgrades and they are amazing. Along with the wonderful staff at Vincent Funeral Services this just adds to the service, especially those joining by live stream.

I arrived slightly ahead of schedule for this afternoon’s service and took the opportunity to stroll through the North West Regional Rose garden. Beautiful and peaceful today.💕

The Lady of Death podcasts are always insightful, sometimes uncomfortable for people who find death difficult, but worth listening to and taking the mystery away.

Grief doesn’t arrive with instructions, and it rarely follows a neat timeline. We sit down with Liam, 14, and Toan, 22, to explore how losing a father at the age of eight years old, reshapes identity, school, friendships, and the rhythm of home. T...
