🍕 Making Magic at Angelina’sPizzeria! 🍕
Members and staff from 3LPlace recently took a "stone's throw" trip down the street to visit our amazing Somerville neighbor, Angelina’s Pizzeria!

A huge thank you to Steve for inviting us behind the counter to discover exactly how these delicious creations are made. Our crew got the full chef experience, learning the art of the perfect pie step-by-step:

The Prep: Starting off strong by stretching the crust to just the right size.

The Flavor: Mastering the pour and spread of the sauce and adding all our favorite toppings.

The Heat: Watching the pizzas head into the oven to cook to crispy perfection!

The Reward: Finally enjoying the best part—the finished product.

We even walked away with some awesome custom pink Angelina’s Pizzeria Est. 1954 shirts to remember the day!

Community is all about neighbors supporting neighbors, and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. If you’re in Somerville, make sure to stop by and see them tossing dough in the window! 🍕✨

At 3LPlace, we believe our physical environment should be just as dynamic and vibrant as the people who use it. That’s why we are officially Reimagining Our Primary Learning Space—and we are already halfway to our goal!

Thanks to a generous $10,000 grant from the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, we only need $10,000 more to cross the finish line!

Your support will help us provide:

-Smart Board Technology: For more interactive and intuitive lesson tools.
-Modular Seating & Booths: Flexible tables on wheels and private booths for both group collaboration and independent study.
-Modular Couches: Comfortable spaces for leisure and member engagement.

Every gift, no matter the size, helps us create a high-impact environment that supports diverse learning styles.

Warm hearts and winter wonders! ❄️✨

Our March at 3LPlace was filled with rhythm, connection, and a bit of icy magic. From exploring the glowing Ice Castles in New Hampshire to finding our "inner music child" with our talented intern, Jason, it’s been a month to remember.

🏰 Ice Castle Adventures: We took a magical overnight trip for snow-tubing, sleigh rides, and cozying up by the fire.

🎸 Meet "J": Music therapy intern Jason Scolnick has been helping our members boost their self-esteem and communication through the power of song.

Transitioning into adulthood shouldn't mean a loss of support. At 3L Place, we provide a "bridge" for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, offering a curriculum developed in collaboration with experts from Harvard, Tufts, and Lesley Universities.

Our model is built on self-determination. We work closely with our members to ensure they have the agency to choose their own paths, explore their interests, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

We are currently welcoming new members into our community. If you are a family member, advocate, or individual interested in learning more, we encourage you to start the process with an informational call.
