Looking For Support Worker
Location:- New South Wales (Randwick 2032 and Como 2226)
Role: Disability Support Work
• Assisting individuals into the community and connecting them to local activities and recreational interests.
• Booking appointments, assisting with shopping, paying payments, technology and communicating with the service coordinator are all examples of basic chores.
• Medication support and monitoring are required.
• Assisting with meal preparation and providing meal help
• Performing domestic assistance-related duties (for e.g. cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, general areas, toilets, feeding pets)
• Assisting NDIS participants with daily living skills such as shopping, cooking, travel, and training.
• If necessary, accompany to social groups, doctor’ and therapist appointments, and other activities.
• Assist Participants with achieving their NDIS plan goals.
• Other duties requested by NDIS participants which assist them to learn independent living skills.
• Complete Case notes for every shift to help determine client's goals and maintain a log of service provided
Job Requirements:
Must be willing to provide or obtain an NDIS screening check.
Some experience is desirable but not mandatory
Must have own car with valid comprehensive insurance.
Must have Work Rights in Australia.
Must have a Clear Police Check, Working with Children Check, and First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to start of work.
Ability to Work Flexible Hours.
Happy to do household cleaning as well.
