Also my field is in Immune-disease and dietary recommendation. Cancer and Bariatric surgery is where Monica has extended hospital and community clinical experience. I am very familiar with all the nutritional needs and how nutrition helps to manage medical conditions across all ages groups from infant to care of the older. I have over 29 years experience as a dietitian and nutritionist with a BSc(hons) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. I am also a certified NLP, Meta Profile Health Mindset Coach. I worked in several countries like Portugal, UK and now in Australia over 16 years. Services include individual/ group consultations, telephone and Skype consultations, home and supermarket visits along with a range of specific group educational sessions to clients and health professionals. I provide a service with referral care plans from your GP, HICAPS is available for private health. I also offer a discounted service to pensioners. Also i provide Services to NDIS for planed and self-managed participants. We are located within a great facility with easy access to physiotherapy, podiatrist as well as the dietitian.

Here’s how my bowl fits the Balance Your Plate method 👇

🥦 Half the plate vegetables
Roasted carrots + mushrooms + leafy greens and herbs

🐟 One quarter lean protein
Shredded fish plus a little extra from h**p seeds

🍠 One quarter whole grains or starchy veg
Roasted carrots work as the starchy veg here, and edamame adds extra fibre and slow energy

This is part of my daily routine lately 💊🥤

I get asked a lot what I use to support energy, metabolism and cravings, so here’s a look at what I’m currently adding in and how I use it.

🥤 Protein shake base
I start with a quality protein blend to help me hit my protein target for the day. This keeps me fuller for longer and makes it easier to stay consistent, especially on busy mornings.

🥥 MCT powder
I add a scoop for extra healthy fats and steadier energy. It helps me stay satisfied and reduces that I need a snack feeling between meals.

🧠 Magnesium
This is a staple for me. I take it to support stress, sleep quality, muscle recovery and nervous system regulation.

🌿 Herbal drops
I add a few drops depending on what my body needs that week, usually for gut support and general wellbeing.

Supplements don’t replace food, they support a good foundation. The basics still matter first

And I can already tell this round is going to be powerful.

Here’s what I had before starting the fasting challenge 🥗🍉

I keep it simple but strategic, because what you eat before a fast can make the next 24 hours so much easier.

On my plate today

🍉 Watermelon for hydration and an easy source of carbs
🥭 Papaya for digestion support and fibre
🍍 Pineapple for enzymes and a little natural sweetness
🐉 Dragon fruit for antioxidants and extra fibre
🥬 A fresh salad base with cucumber, tomato, olives and leafy greens for minerals and volume
🥑 A spoon of pesto or avocado-based dressing for healthy fats so I stay satisfied longer

This kind of pre-fast meal can hold you for hours because it gives you
