Also my field is in Immune-disease and dietary recommendation. Cancer and Bariatric surgery is where Monica has extended hospital and community clinical experience. I am very familiar with all the nutritional needs and how nutrition helps to manage medical conditions across all ages groups from infant to care of the older. I have over 29 years experience as a dietitian and nutritionist with a BSc(hons) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. I am also a certified NLP, Meta Profile Health Mindset Coach. I worked in several countries like Portugal, UK and now in Australia over 16 years. Services include individual/ group consultations, telephone and Skype consultations, home and supermarket visits along with a range of specific group educational sessions to clients and health professionals. I provide a service with referral care plans from your GP, HICAPS is available for private health. I also offer a discounted service to pensioners. Also i provide Services to NDIS for planed and self-managed participants. We are located within a great facility with easy access to physiotherapy, podiatrist as well as the dietitian.

I honestly didn’t realise just how important Omega 3 was until I started learning more about it. 💛
It’s one of those things that quietly supports so much in the body, like energy levels, brain focus, mood, inflammation, recovery, even how well you bounce back after a long week.

And the thing is… most of us don’t get enough through food alone.
Even if you eat pretty well, it’s still easy to be low because we don’t always get enough fatty fish in our diet (and let’s be real… not everyone loves eating salmon all the time 😅).

This was one of those meals that just hits the spot. A cozy bowl of chickpea curry, fluffy rice with crispy onions, warm naan, a crunchy papadum, and a little squeeze of lemon on the side. Nothing fancy, just really good, comforting food.

Thinking about fasting but feeling nervous about the hunger? I totally get it 👋
I was there too. Especially when I was surrounded by food and talking about it all day at the clinic. It wasn’t easy at first.

But something really amazing happens once your body learns to use ketones for fuel. That constant hunger starts to quiet down, and you feel more in control than you ever expected. This January Fasting Challenge isn’t about punishing yourself or just “not eating.” It’s about changing the way you think about food and giving your body the space to reset and renew.
