Also my field is in Immune-disease and dietary recommendation. Cancer and Bariatric surgery is where Monica has extended hospital and community clinical experience. I am very familiar with all the nutritional needs and how nutrition helps to manage medical conditions across all ages groups from infant to care of the older. I have over 29 years experience as a dietitian and nutritionist with a BSc(hons) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. I am also a certified NLP, Meta Profile Health Mindset Coach. I worked in several countries like Portugal, UK and now in Australia over 16 years. Services include individual/ group consultations, telephone and Skype consultations, home and supermarket visits along with a range of specific group educational sessions to clients and health professionals. I provide a service with referral care plans from your GP, HICAPS is available for private health. I also offer a discounted service to pensioners. Also i provide Services to NDIS for planed and self-managed participants. We are located within a great facility with easy access to physiotherapy, podiatrist as well as the dietitian.

Still such an important conversation to be having.🗞️

I had the opportunity to speak with the Mandurah Mail about something I’m seeing more and more in clinic the impact of the current food crisis on long term health.

With food prices rising, a lot of families are struggling to afford their usual groceries.
🍳 Eggs, 🥦 veggies, 🥛 milk the basics are slipping out of reach.

And it’s not just about food on the table, I’m seeing the impact on health too.

🩺 Higher cholesterol, blood pressure, and early signs of things like insulin resistance even in young clients.

💬 I shared how cost, access, and overwhelm are leading many people especially those on NDIS to swap real food for ultra processed options that can worsen inflammation, energy dips, and chronic conditions.

❤️‍🩹 As a dietitian and a mum, I know how hard it can be to feed a family when prices are rising and support feels out of reach.
That’s why I’m so passionate about helping people make realistic, sustainable changes without cutting out the foods they love.
