👋 Have you taken a second today to evaluate and check in with yourself and how you’re feeling? If your needs or basic needs have been met? Talked out a small issue to someone you trust? Had enough water?
Hugged your family, friends or furry family for some recharge and love?
Booked an appointment with your doctor/Psychologist if needed for further assistance? Done something you want and know you enjoy? ✨🌟🌻

The above are small and sound simple, yet these actions and cues we may miss are much needed to and a balanced life at the moment we are. 🙏

Checking in with how your “battery “levels are, checking in with yourself, your needs, feelings, and thoughts, is really important. 🙌

Developing and recognising your insights on your limits, needs, and when to use your or create to maintain your “battery life “or recharge is really important!

What are your to sustain your body from becoming “empty”, or what have you found that helps identify and learn about your capacities? 🤔 we love to hear others’ experiences and thoughts and !

At Wisemind & Body], we always check in with each other as a team, ensure everyone takes an optimal break between clients and paperwork, and have our doors open to relax or debrief. We ensure our team has breaks that coincide with others to prevent them from feeling isolated and stepping away from their work! We even have a sensory room with whole-body sensory items.

We love this infographic of the sensory stress bucket👏

We often use cups, buckets, even squares that can hold any type liquid, or weight that can be either empty or filled up to come capacity ( sometimes to the brim and over flowing )🫠

Usually we get each individual to imagine their own “ bucket” and find their own sensory strerssors, ( including holistic approach, biological, physiological, psychological, social) identifying when it’s about to overflow, ( external and internal ). 🦻👃👁️👅🫀🧠👤

Or, simply if it already had- leading to burn out, mood changes- anger, freeze mode, pains…etc. 🖐️

We also then try to identify what level our bucket is at right now, if it’s optimal for us, to check in- if we are in the right place, we can come up with solutions and coping skills to sustain and optimise it or simply just develop the insight at this level where we can. 😮‍💨

This infographic holds a lot of unseen information about what may be happening inside that we cannot see or explain. 🫣

For us, at Wisemind & Body we always check in with eachother as a team and ensure everyone takes an optimal break in between clients, paperwork and have time off for lunch as a schedule for example. 🤗

☝️Intial sessions can be daunting and exciting.

👏At Wisemind & Body we know and appreciate it, and always endeavour making that transition, decision, and process as best as we can.

🤝We find being transparent, and asking for transparency on both sides works wonders. Bring open about what works, what doesn’t, and walking through it all together as a team.

🌟Did you know that studies have shown the moment a client chooses a therapist, books them in, a connection is made before the initial session!

🙌The goal and aim is to make it a safe and effective transition to the next phase, goals progress…
