Job Opportunity: Male Support Worker – Ipswich (NDIS Participants from Correctional Facilities)
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced male support worker to join our team in Ipswich, providing support to NDIS participants transitioning from correctional centres.
Key Requirements:
Must have previous experience working with individuals with complex behaviours.
Excellent English communication skills are essential.
Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries.
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid & CPR, and Driver’s Licence.
Relevant qualifications in Community Services, Mental Health, or similar (desirable).
Role Details: in home support and community access for a participant with severe intellectual impairment
Epilepsy
Traits of Autism Spectrum Disorder (no formal ASD diagnosis)
Oppositional Defiance Disorder (not officially diagnosed, but suspected)
Location: Ipswich and surrounding areas
Male support worker required due to participant preference
Casual/part-time shifts available with the potential for ongoing work
