This week’s proposed NDIS reforms have created a lot of discussion, questions and understandable uncertainty across the community.

We know announcements like this can feel unsettling for participants, families and carers. That is why our CEO, Andre Carvalho, has recorded a short video to share some reflections as more detail is yet to become clear.

We will continue to listen, support, advocate and communicate with our community as things progress.

Adam rocks it at Ability fest 2026!

Adam had an incredible time with support worker Tuula at Ability Fest 2026! 🎶🦼 🌈
Adam - always a rocker at heart - rolled straight onto the dance floor and loved the energy of the crowd. He even joined DJ Cooper on stage!

One of the biggest surprises of the night was meeting Dylan Alcott — famous Australian wheelchair tennis champion, Paralympian and founder of AbilityFest.

Dylan stopped for a quick hello and gifted Adam a pair of Nike Air Force shoes. Adam was absolutely stoked and wanted to put them on straight away! 👟

With glitter face paint, we enjoyed more dancing, food and drinks at The Timber Yard venue. Adam made sure to grab a Nike AbilityFest long sleeve shirt before heading home.

An amazing, inclusive festival full of music, connection and big smiles. Adam had an absolute ball! 🎶 ✨

Liam and Kev put in a huge effort on Friday, cooking up 85 burgers for the Sunbury community in partnership with Goonawarra Neighbourhood House 🍔🔥

We loved being part of Sunbury Neighbourhood Week and connecting with so many amazing people who truly understand what community is all about — bringing people together, sharing stories, and building real connections.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by for a chat (and a burger!). We’re already looking forward to the next one ❤️

Exciting things are happening at The Do Food Truck 🔨✨

Upgrades are underway for the café, entertainment, and dining area — all designed to make every visit even more enjoyable. We’re adding beautiful decorative furnishings to enhance the warm, family-friendly courtyard atmosphere.

Ben, Shane, and Dylan have been hard at work as part of the new Woodwork Activity Group at Distinctive Options in Sunbury. With support from staff member Adam, the group has access to professional-grade tools and equipment in our fully fitted warehouse, they’re creating high-quality pieces in a safe and supportive learning environment.

Be sure to drop by the café soon to see the incredible craftsmanship from our woodworking team — you won’t want to miss it! 🌿🪵
