5 ways to support your immune system naturally.

1) Diet
Following a diet rich in antioxidants is essential to supporting your immune system.

2) Exercise
Working out regularly can mobilize your T cells, a type of white blood cell known to guard the body against infection.

3) Stress Reduction
Chronic stress can have a negative impact on immunity. To keep your stress in check, incorporate a relaxing practice like meditation, yoga, or deep breathing into your daily routine.

4) Sleep and Hygiene
Simply keeping your hands clean is one of the best ways to ward off illness. Make sure to wash your hands for 15 to 20 seconds before preparing food or eating and after coughing, sneezing, or touching public surfaces.
Another healthy habit vital to preventing sickness is getting a full eight hours of sleep each night, which may help regulate immune function.

5) Herbs and Supplements
There are mixed views that vitamin C can enhance immunity, however there is some evidence that this antioxidant can reduce cold incidence.

Japanese studies have shown that people who spend time in the forest/nature inhale beneficial bacteria, plant-based essential oils, and negatively charged ions. My body was talking to me and it was time to listen.

After 2 weeks of Retreats and intuitive massage work it was time to take a day off.
My feet hurt, I was tired, my energy was low.

When I feel like this not only am I inviting in illness with a low immune system, but I lose power in my energy work.
It is literally like my battery is running low and needs a recharge.

LISA IT IS TIME TO PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH!!

So I went to the power source, NATURE.

Priest and I took a drive up to Mapleton to explore the local area of our upcoming 'Back to Earth' retreat.

'Wow this is so beautiful'

'Talk about feed your soul'
💚💜🧡

'I love being in nature'
🌳🌸🌿

The words were spilling from my mouth as my body became light again.

We walked, did a smudging ceremony, pulled some cards and went to lunch. The day was perfect.

I came home feeling restored mentally, physically and spiritually.

If this is what a few hours could do, imagine a 4 day retreat filled with soul feeding activities. I cannot wait.
