Exploring the deeper, more subtle energetics of Sh***ri/Kinbaku-bi through the alchemisation of s€xual energy into creative action using Ta***ic practice and Zen mind states to achieve authentic presence in partnership and polarity through the practice of sensual erotic rope bo***ge.

Sh***ri is an ancient Japanese art form of rope bo***ge that has evolved from a method of restraint into a practice of emotional connection, aesthetic beauty, and intimacy. Beyond the physical act of tying, Sh***ri emphasizes communication, trust, and it creates an opportunity for a deep emotional bond between partners, focusing on safety, preparedness, and aftercare to ensure a positive experience as well as presenting the possibility of a beautiful form of non-s*xual intimacy.

Refining the erotic art of tight binding, we integrate deep Ta***ic practices drawn from Śaivite and Karmamudra traditions with mind states cultivated within medieval Japanese martial arts, deepening awareness and presence with Sh***ri/Kinbaku-bi practice by consciously manifesting erotic energy and expanding outwards with this energy as a powerful creative resource. The transformational practices covered in this offering are not limited to erotic rope bo***ge. They can be instruments in developing a meaningful connection between Eros and our lived life and a more conscious awareness and presence within the energy field we move in.

This workshop is limited to ten places. No previous experience is required and beginners are welcome. For those established practitioners wanting to deepen their practice, this workshop will offer unique tools to elevate and refine presence and awareness through exploration of mind states and the channeling of Eros into conscious, creative action. If you are unable to attend, one on one three hour intensive sessions are available on Sunday 22nd by appointment.

Come along to the beautiful Ilkley Haven as we explore the elements through a Hermetic lens (Fire, Air, Water, Earth). A mystery school style event working with our multidimensional aspects of will, mind, emotion and body. Exploring how they can be perceived and worked with internally and in relation to the world around us.

Beginners or people new to this approach are welcome, as this workshop is designed to cater to a wide range of experience levels. This space will offer a mixture of:

Exploration of Alchemical phases and how to work with them practically in healing and shadow work

Finishing with a meditation journey to your inner sanctum, moving through the elements, balancing and harmonising.

This offering is created to provide activation and power (fire), clarity and purity (air), balance and vitality (water), structure and foundation (earth). This balanced approach supports effective integration afterwards.

Yoni Love is an intimate half day sacred s€xuality immersion that guides you deep within the layers of yourself.

We will sink into the forest haven and spend the day deepening into the softness and safety available within our bodies.

You will uncover where shame has lived within your body and you will dissolve it powerfully through self love, presence and creativity.

On the day you will be guided through a yoni steam ritual, a yoni de armouring session, yoni gazing practice and a yoni art experience.

All practices are done with privacy and dignity. They are not aimed at pleasure but at exploration of what’s been held within your anatomy and psyche. This is an individual opportunity to explore yourself and to let go of what your body and soul has stored. There will be no partnered activities. There will be no witnessing of others experiences. This is for YOU and your liberation.

As we reemerge from the deep nourishment of Winter, the Spring invitations are whispering in the air. At Ilkley Haven we are reigniting our community space with the seasonal shift and we can’t wait to share and welcome you ♥️
