At Evercare Support, we understand how overwhelming hospital discharges can be, especially when it comes to returning home safely and comfortably. That is why we take quick action seriously with a dedicated team ready to support NDIS participants every step of the way.

Recently, we supported two participants through their hospital discharges, including 'A' , whose care needs required specialised equipment and training. We met her in hospital, coordinated training with her OT and physio, and built a trusted support team so she could come home with confidence and familiar faces waiting.

Our skilled staff are trained and ready to help with
• Manual handling such as hoist, sara steady, and slide sheets
• Personal care including continence care, grooming, and dressing
• Feeding support like dysphasia, PEG feeding, and meal preparation
• Behaviour support plans implementation
• Mental health support

Yesterday morning some of our team got together for a refresher and training in Manual Handling, Dysphagia and PEG care. Keeping our skills up to date means we can continue to provide the very best and up to date care for our clients.

It was also lovely to catch up face-to-face, since we’re usually out in the field, we don’t often get the chance to meet as a group. A great morning of learning and connection. 🙌
