The math girlie in me drools over stats posts, so I decided I needed slap down my version of all the midwifery stats you see at the end of the year!

I’m so proud of everything that The Sacred Bubble has become over the past 2 and a bit years, with this year being an even more jam packed one welcoming another one of my own into the world.

Bring on 2026 - the year where I start the special journey of being welcomed into client homes for the second time ❤️

The beautiful Ash was my last AN/PN care client through my clinic space at Gunyah. Our bond grew quickly and between us we spoke many words!

This beautiful woman taught me many things, with her determination and resilience being atop her various shining qualities ✨

She faced each bump in her journey with grit, and her little (big) man at the forefront. She also takes the cake for the biggest baby on discharge for 2025 - which considering he was quite literally half her size, is a very impressive feat.

Thank you for allowing me into your family 🫶🏻

Phew! We’ve made it to 2025 discharge clients 😅

This beautiful mumma came to me early on because her sister in law had been a client of mine in 2024 and she knew she wanted “in” on what she got!

It was an absolute delight being there to do some birth planning prep, chat all things cloth nappies and turn up every week to see their darling second daughter grow.

Lots of birth comparisons happened with our weekly catch-ups, and lots of general life unpack as she learnt to navigate solo parenting with a partner away for weeks at a time early on. Absolute super star of a mumma ❤️

This delightful family welcomed their little bundle towards the end of 2024’ and our paths crossed due to a generous friend who gifted them my care (friends like these are the MVP!!) 🥰

The end of the pregnancy through some curveballs and before we knew it their little gal was here ready for them to navigate the next chapter! Each visit we laughed and chatted through the prior weeks challenges whilst celebrating all the wins.

We took this discharge photo the week of Christmas and it rounded out the year of 2024 providing postpartum care ✨

Tips to ride the wave;

- Don’t clock watch, particularly in the middle of the night 🕑
- Fresh air will do you both good, grab it when you can 🍃
- Babywear ( 😍) as much as you can, it gives you free hands 🙌🏼
