We are a husband and wife run company looking for new team members to join our already fully established supports and cleaning team.

☀️Area’s: Caloundra and surrounding☀️ areas available.

📅YOU CHOOSE YOUR DAYS AND HOURS
🧽 Experience preferred but not necessary.
🏦 As much or as little as you want to take on.
🏡 Areas close to your home.
😃 Must be reliable and motivated.
🚘 Must drive with own car.

✅ Minimum 1 day per week

A Star Assist provides high-quality support and household services to NDIS, Home Care, and DVA clients across the Sunshine Coast. We pride ourselves on delivering a truly person-centred approach to care — focused on relationships, not just tasks.

🔹 Must Have:
- A strong person-centred approach, built on compassion, respect, and reliability.

- Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support (or currently studying)

Ability to obtain or already hold:
▪ National Police Check
▪ Blue Card
▪ Disability Worker Screening Check
▪ Manual Handling Certificate
▪ First Aid & CPR
Must have own reliable vehicle

What an amazing atmosphere during the warm-up before the walk and run kicked off! The energy was electric, and the sense of community was truly inspiring.

It was a fantastic day with an incredible turnout, all in support of a cause that touches so many lives. There’s something so uplifting and empowering about seeing people from all walks of life come together with one shared purpose.

As the Owner and Director of A Star Assist, I am privileged to lead a company that supports some of the most vulnerable members of our community through essential domestic household assistance & support services. I am constantly inspired by our amazing team and the incredible clients we work alongside every day.

This event holds a deeply personal place in my heart. My beloved aunty tragically lost her battle with breast cancer at just 38 years old. Adding to the personal significance, my dear friend Ange—a courageous breast cancer survivor—also the incredible host of the event. Their journeys are a powerful reminder of why continued support and awareness are so vital.

Despite being met with gale-force winds, pouring rain, and a glimpse of sunshine, the energy and support on the day were unwavering. It was moving to see so many people run and walk proudly in honour of loved ones, survivors, and those still fighting.

Thank you to everyone who braved the elements and made the day such a success. Together, we make a difference.
