PERTH — I am coming back.

It has been a while since I last presented on ENT in Perth, and I am excited to say that I am planning a February visit.

I am looking to bring my full course on sleep disordered breathing to Perth and I am seeking expressions of interest from anyone who wants to attend.

I need to speak up
I see a huge amount of parents searching for health advice online
At one level- I get it.

Due to a huge number of online requests from parents about their child that snores or mouth breathes Dr D has written his third book. It is called Sleep disordered breathing: A parent’s guide

I believe it will empower parents to seek the help their children need. I hope it may be a useful resource for health care professionals too, to explain to parents why SDB is an issue, why we have abandoned the idea of “letting them outgrow it”, and why they need their children ideally seen and treatment commenced within 6 months of symptoms becoming evident.

A meta analysis is a review of the literature and then looking if the results to try and get a good idea about a management plan. And as they star, for those struggling with nasal symptoms despite the usual treatments, the use of the botulinum in the nose is a viable option.

So there is no need to put up with those annoying runny noses any more.
