THE PRE BREATH RITUALS

Before we go into any Breathwork session, workshop or holding space for anyone on any capacity we must make sure we ourselves are in the zone.

We arrive early to set up and make sure we are all set for the session, we sit and talk through our intention and how we wish to show up for the session, what we are going to bring to the session, we talk into gratitude and positivity and express our love and appreciation for each other for showing up and doing what we do.

We then go through our own Breathwork routine to drop into our bodies, clear our minds and to make sure we are totally present in that moment before all you amazing humans start to arrive.

These are the little things that go on behind the scenes to make sure we deliver the best experience possible to all that attend our Breathwork events 🧡🙏

HOLOTROPIC BREATHWORK

Holotropic Breathwork was originally developed by psychiatrist and researcher, Stanislav Grof, and his wife Christina Grof. The couple were two of the principal developers of transpersonal psychology and research into the use of non-ordinary states of consciousness for purposes of exploring, healing and obtaining growth and insights into the human psyche. The goal of this altered state of consciousness in Holotropic Breathwork is to bring unconscious issues into awareness. This will enable participants to work through them and experience healing.

Holotropic Breathwork has two major components which creates the physical, mental, emotional or spiritual journey that many experience when practicing this technique. These two components appear to provide access to unusual, unexpected, transpersonal experiences in non-ordinary states of awareness.

These two components are.
 1. Hyperventilation (or voluntary over- breathing), also commonly referred to as simply “Breathwork”
 2. Music (thematic and evocative music)
The neurophysiology of these two elements is currently understood to provide a loosening of emotional control, integrative states and bonding experiences.

INSPIRED ACTION

I remember talking and envisioning all of the things I desired. The change that would cause me to be more happy and fulfilled in my life. BUT that’s where it ended…at the thought. I didn’t act upon my desires I simply thought of it and continued to cycle through old patterns.

Until I took the step…

This wasn’t just a step even though it felt small…looking back now it was the quantum leap towards my dreams. This type of action is definitely one of the most critical steps in the Law of Attraction manifestation process and usually the first big step forward.

It’s about doing something that brings you one step closer to your goal, and doing it with strong emotion, because you FEEL that this is the RIGHT thing to do right now (even when it may not make sense)

The great thing about such an action step is that it usually attracts the next steps and directs you further in the right direction - you create momentum.

Often you can’t even explain where the feeling comes from, why you got it, and what it should bring you. THIS IS THE PIVOTAL POINT… you either act on it or ignore it.

It is exactly this feeling that triggers inspired action if you decide to follow it. But that’s the step YOU have to take to create a newer version of you that no longer feels bounds by the past.
