It took me years to realise that it wasn’t about being perfect. It was about being consistent..
Nutrition science is so complex, heck, I’m still studying it 7 years later and there are just more and more rabbit holes the deeper you get.
But in all of my studies, trials and tribulations.. what I know to be true is that if it’s extreme… it won’t work (well long term that is)
Simple food swaps, a weekly meal plan/structure, understanding your energy requirements, diving into macros and having a fitness protocol is key!
If you’re trying to muscle through each day eating the bare minimum, thrashing yourself at the gym or depriving yourself from certain or most food groups… know that this isn’t the way.
Food brings us such joy and if you’re on a health or fat loss journey you don’t have to suffer! Education is honestly key. Learning about food changed my life personally. Wouldn’t you love to have ease and enjoyment when it came to food, whilst still hitting your goals? I promise you… you can. All you need is to know how 💜🙏

For those of you who I haven’t met, welcome!
I’m Miranda.. a clinical nutritionist with a big job to do. My aim is to help as many women as possible to become the best version of themselves and HECK I’ve got my work cut out for me!! I want to step into as many minds as I can and help to change the way they think about food, health and nutrition.

Imagine all the women out there, sitting behind screens not feeling like themselves. Feeling down, exhausted, tired of trying and unable to find the answers they need to achieve their goals… these women are the women I adore. The ones who have lost their way, have selflessly put everyone else first and who don’t recognise themselves in the mirror.
They are the women I truly care for 💜✨

I sometimes feel like the piped piper… wanting to stand on the rooftops and bring these beautiful women together. Teaching them TRUTH, abolishing fad diet mentality and showing them the way to BALANCE.

Imagine knowing how to connect the dots, how to create an eco system of health in your body and finally uncovering how to achieve all you’d ever hoped of. (when it comes to your health)

Let’s be honest… as much as we would like to have delicious, nourishing, healthy meals on the table for our family every night….life can often gets in the way.

It’s easy to fall down in these moments, when it comes to your health.
How many of you have had sick kids, a late night at work, an incredibly stressful day or simply no food in the house… (all of us) this can often lead to poor food choices.

So… we all know that we’re not robots and that these situations are coming. Why not plan for them?
It’s a guarantee that they will arise. Of course option one is to batch cook some healthy meals and have them on hand in the freezer ready to pull out. Yet, luckily for us, the food industry has really been working hard to deliver some delicious and healthy convenience meals for just such occasions also. Having a few frozen meals on hand can be a lifesaver when you’re reaching for something on a tough night. I personally love the MyMuscleChef, Form and CorePowerfoods range. Yet there are a few tips you need when selecting a frozen meal.
1. Check for total calories and ensure they are in line with your goals
2. ALWAYS team a frozen meal with fibre (a steam fresh frozen veg bag or half a plate of salad) as they often have very low fibre content- this will also help to keep you feeling fuller for longer
3. Look for how much sodium is in per meal. Frozen meals can be notoriously high in sodium try to find meals that contain less than 500-600g/serve
4. Aim for meals low in saturated fat

By having a few delicious choices on hand, you know you’re set up for success on those nights that don’t go to plan. Help your future self.. be prepared 💜💜🌼

Remember that food isn't just fuel, it is associated with feel good emotions. 💕

Food can have a significant impact on the release of dopamine in the brain. 🧠 Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that plays a crucial role in the brain's reward and pleasure centres.

When we eat well and nourish our body we FEEL good, physically, mentally and emotionally.

We are happier, have higher mental acuity and reduced brain fog, which all contribute to a lighter, brighter you.

Remember to allow yourself to LOVE good food, to celebrate with it, and to allow yourself to be merry.

Because you’re worth it.
