The Chinese new year brings with it the energy of the Wood snake 🐍 A year to shed our skin and transcend both personally and globally.
This may not be as straightforward and easy as we’d like, if your curious I’ve written an article in the link ⬇️
Time to shed that old skin folks!

The deep intelligence and wisdom of the snake calls us to shed the old and make way for the new.

This wondrous plant is Diphylleia grayi, the skeleton flower or glass flower.
It is found growing in the high mountains of Japan in moist damp areas of the forest.

When the flower petals get wet they turn transparent, and when they dry again they return to white. Absolutely beautiful!

This incredibly delicate flower reminds me that when we get wet and tears start to flow, in the crying we become temporarily vulnerable and authentically transparent. Then, once the tears have passed and the stored emotion has been released, we dry up and return to our opaque selves, more robust and resilient.

Oh how wonderfully beautiful our transparent, vulnerable side can be and essential for healing to occur 💞
