Oh the joys of having a chronic condition. Nothing like it kicking off in the middle of the food court. It was just so busy, so loud. I remember walking and there were some teenagers walking behind me I had to move to the side and said to mum damn those girls were so loud, it completely scrambled my brain, and I started to struggle to string a sentence together. And then a couple of minutes later after I had found a seat it kicked off. Right there is front of nando’s. Mum was with me so I didn’t need to use my Mediscan as mum is well versed in what to do. 3 days to recover and I am somewhat back to normal. Head still feels a little fried but we got this.

Supermarkets, walks, appointments, such simple tasks but not when you have a chronic condition or invisible illness, everything gets a little bit harder, more preparation and so much more anxiety that you never experienced before. Having a Mediscan ID completely changed that for me. Got me back out there.
