Today, Members of St John Ambulance (NSW) stood together to honour the sacrifice and service of our Servicemen and Women, commemorating those that have passed away in service of their Nation, and also to honour the current serving men and women, and our Veterans.

In a wide range of services throughout the day, including the Dawn Service in Martin Place - Members volunteered their time to contribute to this solemn event, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests who also gathered to commemorate the Anzacs.

Our volunteers braved the cold weather, to offer our sincere gratitude for the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women.

The Ode of Remembrance:

*They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.*
