🌟 Ability & Ambition day out with Katy and Ebonie at The Zone in Bendigo! 🏁 From go-kart thrills 🏎️ to mini golf fun ⛳ and arcade adventures 🎮, it was a day full of laughter, excitement, and awesome memories!

Today, Sahra, Jordana, and Zoe from Ability & Ambition took part in the Su***de Prevention Walk hosted by Mallee District Aboriginal Services.

It was a powerful and meaningful event that brought people together to raise awareness, show support, and start conversations around mental health and su***de prevention.

💬 Why this matters:
Su***de affects individuals, families, and entire communities. Every step taken today was a reminder that support is out there and that it's okay to speak up.

📌 A few important facts:

- Su***de is one of the leading causes of death among young Australians.
- Many people suffer in silence simply reaching out can make a real difference.
- Starting conversations and staying connected saves lives.

Pyjama Day 2025- Raising funds in our fluffiest slippers with a day of karaoke chaos, craft fun, and biscuit beds for our teddy bears (because everyone deserves a cosy night’s sleep, even the snacks) 🎤🧸

Big thanks to everyone who joined in, sang loud, crafted proudly, and supported a great cause in style.

🏡 Short Term Accomodation 🏡

🤔 What is Short Term Accomodation (STA)?

💡 STA has been designed for people living with disability, that have access to NDIS funding, who need to stay away from their usual residence for a short period of time.
It can be a great option for respite if you or your family need reprieve from the difficulties faced on the daily, or an opportunity to try new things and make new mates!

Today many of our crew gathered for ✨️ Reflective Practice ✨️

Reflective practice is the process of thinking critically about experiences—especially in professional or learning contexts—to gain insight, improve performance, and foster personal or professional growth.
It involves analyzing what happened, why it happened, how you felt, and what you can learn from it, with the goal of improving future actions.

Facilitated by a third party practitioner, we had the opportunity to debrief about challenges and upskill ourselves, with view to providing the highest quality support to our clients & their families!
