Good memories. Following on from my previous post re Olivia Newton John, there is another funny story to share. Olivia wanted to learn to kayak paddle and when she knew that my partner Pip, an outdoor educator had kayaks, she was keen to learn. Olivia and I cast off from the shore on the Brunswick River in NSW. All was going well, and she mastered the paddle beautifully, when suddenly she crossed over a snorkeler's buoy. The irate diver surfaced quickly, ripped off his mask and was about to deliver a tirade when he stopped. Wide eyed and mouth agape he said OMG. OMG I've been run over by Olivia Newton John. My wife's never going to believe this! OMG. Then, looking embarrassed with a quick sorry he donned his mask and disappeared beneath the water. It all happened in a flash. Olivia and I were doubled up with laughter. It was a special moment!

I had the pleasure of getting to know Olivia Newton John when I filled in for her as the keynote speaker on health and wellness at an ASPA conference. She was quoted in Aust Women's Weekly: " I learned a technique from Grace Gawler which helped me to take little moments in the day for myself.
