“Sometimes I wish I could photosynthesise so that just by being, just by shimmering at the meadows edge of floating lazily on a pond, I could be doing the work of the world while standing silent in the sun’” ✨

Colour is a vital part of the doctrine of signatures that we take note of when creating flower essences 🌸

These “signatures” created by nature, help us to find out the therapeutic value of the plants.

The colour of the flower is a beautiful one to connect to, as we delve into the world of art and colour therapies, the meaning and effect that colours have on us.

For me, a lot of the flower essences I am drawn to happen to be pink 🌸✨

When we look at the colour of pink and its meaning, we can see pink is connected to feelings of warmth, peace, healing, femininity, tranquility and playfulness.

The pink flower essences I often connect to are:
🌸 Pink Flannel Flower - gratitude, heart, love for the world
🌸 Sydney Rose - heart felt connection to all beings, deep compassion, inner peace
🌸 Crowea - restoring balance, inner calm and peace, aligned

We can take a lot of note of what our mind and body are needing from the colours we are being drawn to, the colourful synchronicities that keep popping up ✨

What colours or flowers have you been noticing lately? 💖

Today’s lesson from the petals 🌸✨

When we work with flower essences, the effect can differ from person to person. Sometimes it is quite an immediate response, others it can take more time, and the effect is more subtle. The flowers show up in synchronicities, in the body’s energy shifting, in a change of perspective.

Every time I work with the flowers though I am always brought back to this same lesson, this same reminder from the petals.

There is strength in softness. There is strength in healing, in slowness, in allowing yourself to flow.

When we work with energetics such as the flower essences, they are also reconnecting us back to the energy of the Earth, and there she is ready to remind us to learn from everything that surrounds us.

See the strength in the leaves, in the flowers, in the soil, in the water, in the things that we are made of. Observe their softness, their patterns, the way they adapt. This is where I often find an understanding for the healing process.

Firsf, everything must begin to soften 🌸

There is healing in the glimmers ✨

The moments of seeing the trees sway in the breeze, the rainbows made from sunlight, butterflies landing on flowers, dragonflies landing on your nose & the way water sparkles.

These are the moments that help to heal or carry the heaviest of hearts. 🦋💙

All the glimmers hold an energy, an assuredness, a strength, that no matter what, there will always be joy and beauty to be found.

The winter wattle is beginning to bloom! ✨

A little piece of sunshine as the weather starts to cool, and the days get shorter. The essence of Wattle is to bring back joy into one’s life, to bring back the happiness and the positivity 🧡

A go to flower essence for me to connect to when the days are feeling a little heavy x
