🌟 Spotlight on Our Team: Hannah’s Story
When Hannah joined BrightSky five years ago, she couldn’t have imagined how much her work and the organisation would evolve. Today, as our Financial Transactions Manager, she reflects on a journey shaped by collaboration, resilience, and shared purpose.
💬 “One of the biggest highlights of my time at BrightSky was supporting the organisation through a major enterprise system change – all while working from home during COVID,” she shares. “It was a significant challenge, but our team came together with great collaboration and commitment.”
That project marked a turning point, taking the team from manual processes to a more efficient, automated system. “Looking back, it’s rewarding to see how smoothly everything now runs and how much we’ve improved as a team.”
Beyond the numbers, Hannah finds deep meaning in BrightSky’s mission. “I’ve been privileged to meet several guest speakers with spinal cord injuries — their positive mindset continually inspires me and makes me feel proud of the work I do every day,” she shares.
What makes BrightSky special to her?
“We take accountability for what we do, but we also value understanding and compassion. Our management genuinely supports work–life balance, and the long tenure of so many colleagues – 10, 20, even 30 years – says a lot about the culture here.”
As Hannah celebrates her fifth year, she looks ahead with optimism: “My hope is that we continue to grow as a leader in our industry, always finding new ways to give back to the community and make a positive impact... I’m incredibly proud to be part of an organisation that truly believes no matter where we are physically or mentally, there’s always an opportunity to move forward.”
