🌿
Personally i adore Boswellia Carteri, i have loved it for my skin aits relaxing properties and uplifting aroma. It feels like a hug from a friend. Although both are good.
This post explains the difference between Bosweillia and Sacra.
What's the difference between Frankincense and Sacred Frankincense?🌿
Frankincense is one of the most famous and commonly used essential oils. Frankincense is produced from the resin of the Boswellia genus of trees. The Boswellia tree can grow with little to no soil, blooms with white or pale rose colored flowers, and has papery, peeling bark. Today, we love the essential oil produced from the resin, but in ancient times, the resin was given as a gift and burned to purify the air.
Both Frankincense (bosweillia carterii) and Sacred Frankincense (bosweillia sacra) are produced from the same species of plant but in different regions. Bosweillia carterii comes from Somalia, whereas sacra comes from Oman. Different regions in which a plant is grown can affect an essential oil's biochemical specificity. Besides the country of origin, the chemical composition of essential oils can be influenced by the plant's growing conditions such as light, soil, temperature, moisture, climate and altitude. For some essential oils even the time of day a plant is harvested can impact its chemical composition.
Both Frankincense varieties have skin-supporting properties and both can be used to create peaceful and calm atmospheres. I love to use both for meditation. Frankincense (Bosweillia carterii) has a slightly milder aroma than Sacred Frankincense (bosweillia sacra); however, both have that rich woodsy aroma we all love.
Frankincense was one of the oils when I first got my starter kit that I wasn't sure what to do with it. Then I started reading about all of the INCREDIBLE benefits and realized I needed to start using this oil consistently.
Every night before I go to bed, I apply my nightly face serum, which includes frankincense. Not only is it incredibly grounding and relaxes me before bed, but it is also supporting my skin better than ever! It is helpful for restoring the skin to its natural state. It is amazing for redness, blemishes, wrinkles and giving your skin that dewy glow!
When I am feeling restless, overwhelmed, nervous or worried, I love to apply a drop to my diffuser or palms of my hands and inhale deeply.
Who else is a Frank fan? 🙋🏻‍♀️

Thanks to my friend Anna fir sharing this from S. A. Johmson.
Neroli is among the top essential oils I recommend to women based on research and clinical experience.

A systematic review of 12 clinical trials involving over 1,100 women highlighted the significant therapeutic potential of neroli EO across various stages of reproductive health. The study found that neroli is particularly effective in the "labor room" setting, where it significantly lowers anxiety, reduces the perception of pain, and helps stabilize vital signs like blood pressure and heart rate during delivery.

Beyond childbirth, the research indicates that neroli is a powerful tool for managing hormonal transitions; it was shown to alleviate physical and psychological symptoms of PMS and reduce the intensity of hot flashes and anxiety in postmenopausal women. The oil appears to work by influencing the endocrine system—specifically by lowering cortisol (the stress hormone) and potentially balancing estrogen concentrations. Because no significant side effects were reported, neroli stands out as a safe, evidence-based aromatherapy option for improving overall well-being and emotional balance in women's health.

In short, neroli is a great natural solution for women from beginning menstruation to post-menopause.

Most commonly, I recommend applying diluted neroli to both inner forearms and spending ten minutes inhaling the aroma, once or twice daily.

Thanks to the amasing Frances Fuller for this post. X
Ylang Ylang holds the ninth frequency of the Rainbow Healing System, which is one of the three glyphs of the Earth Element: Unity.

Unity is anchored by essential oil of Ylang Ylang. Interestingly… Aromalife (another Young Living blend) is all about support of our physical heart. Guess what? Ylang Ylang is one of the oils found in Aromalife blend. 💖

Unity begins in the heart.

When the heart feels supported…
connection becomes easier.
Flow becomes natural.
Life begins to move in coherence instead of resistance.

Ylang Ylang is so supportive for heart energy, for Unity, for having things work together in harmony.

D. Gary Young once wrote about the exotic, almost intoxicating nature of Ylang Ylang — how its scent has the ability to shift emotional states and invite a sense of openness and connection.

🌿 Why Ylang Ylang?
Ylang Ylang essential oil is steam distilled from the delicate yellow blossoms of the tropical Cananga odorata tree.

Its rich, floral aroma has been traditionally used to:
✨ create a sense of emotional balance
✨ soften tension and overwhelm
✨ invite openness and connection

In aromatherapy, it is often associated with calming the nervous system and supporting a more grounded emotional state, which is exactly what Unity requires.

If you suffer from headaches, you're not alone. A lot of products and situations can trigger headaches.

Exposure to chemical toxins including pesticides, solvents, heavy metals and formaldehyde, cause acute, neurotoxic headaches by disrupting cellular metabolism, often inducing symptoms like nausea and vertigo.

Common headache triggers include:
toxic household cleaning and personal care products;
paints, cigarette smoke and plastics;
trees, grass, pollen, seasonal allergies;
changing temperatures and humidity trigger sinus headaches;
Everyday stress & anxiety; and
hormones from PMS & menopause can trigger migraines

A lot of medications can also contain some of the things that can actually make your stress and headaches worse.

So let me show you how to make my natural headache balm. It's an easy DIY made with the natural goodness of essential oils.
I keep a jar of headache balm in my purse, so I always have it with me at work, running errands and at home. Finally, a headache remedy that I can feel good about using!

How to Make Headache Balm ( 5% Dilution for Healthy Adults)
1: add 2 tablespoons each of beeswax, coconut oil Young Living’s V6 vegetable oil or olive oil to a heat-safe glass bowl, jug or measuring cup
2: Melt the Mixture by placing the measuring cup in a saucepan with 1-2 inches of water in the bottom. Heat the water to over low heat stirring until completely melted. If beeswax isn’t completely melted, it can re-harden & can become grainy.
3: Remove from heat and allow to cool for several minutes
4: Add the Following Essential Oils to the Cooled Carrier Oil Mix:
24 drops peppermint; 12 drops lavender; 12 drops frankincense and 12 drops Roman chamomile.
6: allow to cool and pour into tins or glass jars. Allow to solidify completely before putting on the lids. Add a label.
Rub on temples,r back of head & neck as needed. Keep out of eyes.

Young Living Tip: I use our Coconut-Lime Body Butter for the base of this recipe. Its cheaper, quicker, a non-greasy constancy & has a nice container, just mix in your oils. No heating required. If you are on our loyalty Program you can use your Loyalty Points. Made without parabens, petrochemicals, colorants, or animal-derived ingredients, this vegan body butter is filled with skin-loving ingredients -seed butters: mango & cupuacu butter that help soften and soothe skin.
