A message from Mary Young (which she has asked me to pass on to you, and invites you to pass on to anyone you can think of). Mary writes:

Hi everyone,

Last night I watched a new documentary on Netflix titled Plastic Detox. It is probably the greatest documentary I have watched relating to our current world. It substantiates everything about who we are in YL and why we do what we do. Gary was saying 40 years ago what they are saying now. I am surprised that this kind of information is even being made available to the masses.

This documentary will resonate with anyone who cares about their health - seriously, by their actions, not just talk. This will give credence to what we are saying with some good validation.
We all know that some people care more than others, but with this kind of information, maybe they will care a little bit more into action.

This is a battle before us that is beyond our understanding in its immensity. I have lived my life, and I know much of what they are presenting and I am living accordingly. Most of our people are in the middle of their lives and some are just starting at the beginning. The more knowledge they have and the discipline they exercise will determine how they enjoy life to its fullest. That is why we do what we do, is it not?

I would love to send this out to thousands, and names just flood my brain, but it’s too much. However, if we all send it out, it will spread.

Love to you all,
Mary

Why Learn Hot and Cold Stone Massage?
A good treatment can make a client feel relaxed. But that’s not what brings them back. Clients return when they feel and see a clear difference - less pain, less tension, better movement and uplifted spirit. In other words - Visible change. That’s what builds retention. And retention is what stabilises your income.
Learning a new modality doesn't replace what you already do. But it does deepen it. Offering something different and effective not only refreshes your menu, but when results improve, clients notice. When clients notice, they return.
If you’ve been thinking about strengthening your treatments and increasing your client base, consider adding Hot and Cold Stone Massage to your treatment list.
This enjoyable treatment is often misunderstood, thought of as a “feelgood treat”. But it is also very effective for better sleep, muscle tension, inflammation and pain.
The "Pain Gate" Theory: Heat stimulates sensory receptors in the skin that compete with pain signals traveling to the brain. The pleasant warmth of the stones overwhelms the nervous system's capacity to process pain signals, effectively "closing the gate" on that discomfort.
Lowering Substance P: Studies show hot stone treatments can lower levels of "Substance P," a neurotransmitter that helps transmit pain signals in the body.
Heat penetrates deep into muscle, loosening tight fibers and reducing muscle tension that creates a feedback loop of pain. By easing muscle spasms, the source of the pain signal is reduced.
The heat causes Vasodilation, the widening of blood vessels caused by the relaxation of smooth muscles in their walls. This increases blood flow and lowers blood pressure. This natural process enhances the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to tissues which also increases healing.
Cold stone massage reduces inflammation, eases headaches and soothe sinus pressure by restricting blood vessels. It eases muscle spasms, reduces swelling, aids recovery from sports injuries and provides a refreshing, invigorating experience that reduces stress and clears mental fog.
Endorphin Release: The heat and therapeutic pressure promote the release of endorphins—the body's natural pain-relieving chemicals.
Hot Stone Massage is beneficial for therapists by reducing physical strain. The heat penetrates deep into muscles, allowing therapists to work deeper with less physical pressure. It also reduces the need to use thumbs and wrists reducing repetitive strain, reducing the risk of burnout and injury.
Added Value: It allows you to offer a premium new service and to increase your menu’s variety and appeal.
Why not join us on Sunday 3rdth & Monday 4th May 2026 and learn this amazing treatment. You wont regret it!

Hi Everyone
Just a note to let you know that sadly Young Living will be moving from its current location to an address in Macquarie Park at the end of June. So if you want to stock up and pick up saving postage this is the time to do it. The address of the new location will be announced soon.

This also means that we only have two more dates at the Baulkham Hills location on which you can attend our wonderful Aroma Scent and Sound sessions. The first is Saturday 4th April 2-4pm. The last one at this address is Saturday 6th of June 2-4pm. Both at Young Livings Training Room at Young Living's office Centre Building B, Level 3, 3 Columbia Court, Baulkham Hills, NSW 2153

In or Aroma Scent & Sound sessions we include Gary Young's Meditation to Return to Calm where we use Cedarwood to open your mind, put "Joy" essential oil on your heart (everything works better with an open, grateful, joyous heart) & place Sacred Mountain blend on your feet, to ground and deeply balance your senses before Sue walks amongst you raising your vibrations even further with her magic crystal bowls and triangle and other beautiful sound instruments. Such good value at only $33.
We then have a cuppa and some treats.
Sue and I would love to see you there and please pass this email on to anyone you think would enjoy this beautiful, relaxing, inspirational scent and sound bath.

Joy was one of Gary Young’s earliest blends. It was also somehow one of the most misunderstood.

Many people don’t like it at first.
May this be because joy requires the heart to open?

Joy is about presence without armor, not so much about ‘excitement’ like many initially believe it is.

When joy feels uncomfortable, it may be because life has been lived mostly in the head.

Joy reminds the body (and the heart):
💜 it’s safe to feel
💜 it’s safe to soften
💜 it’s safe to receive

Gary felt the frequency of Joy was essential for healing, whether emotional, physical, or spiritual. We need to carry joy in our heart for others and oneself. Gary suggested applying the oil all over, bathing in it, but noted the heart as the primary application point.

He included Joy blend in his "Great Day Protocol," recommending the application of 1 drop just above the heart to promote happiness in the mind and body.

Who will apply some Joy today? Will you? 🥰
Thank you to Francis Fuller for this great post. Everyone needs joy in their life..

I love this oil. Palo Santo means "Holy Wood". It is traditionally used as a spiritual oil to ward off and protect from negative energy and to clear spaces.
It is from the same family as Frankincence and myrrh. It uplifts mood like Frankincense.
The Incas used it to cleanse and purify the spirit for thousands of years.
It is said that the spirits of the sacred Palo Santo trees are carried in the essential oil and are part of what makes the oil so potentially.
Try it. You will love it.

Rob and I went to a Fleetwood Mac tribute band concert on Saturday night. They were fantastic. They are called Seventh Wonder. A fresh approach as they dont try to look or sound like Fleetwood Mac but just honour their music.
We loved it. So much fun singing our hearts out.
How amazing is it that sound and music can take you back right over the years _ "right to the rainbows end" and " make you believe in magic" and you see "your gypsy, back to the gypsy that was".
Lol that was for their old hippy fans like me.
But the message in their music is still relevant today - "don't stop, thinking about tomorrow, don't stop it will soon be here, it will be better than before, Yesterday is gone'
Ah so good. Didn't do the duet Stevie Nick's did with Don Henly of the Eagles, Leather and Lace, which I love. But all uplifted my mood, felt joyous and all sang all the way home in the car. With Rob telling me not to give up my day job. Ranting. Sorry loved it. X

What a wonderful morning we hand with Michelle and her lovely team introducing them to their first Aroma Scent and Sound treatment.
Sue and I shared Gary Young's beautiful 'Meditation to Return to Calm" with Cedarwood to open the mind, joy on the heart chakra as everything flows better with a grateful and open heart. Ended with Sacred Mountain on the feet for deep grounding.
Then Sue did her magic with the amazing and uplifting, energising sounds of her crystal bowls, ocean drum (my favourite, its like ocean waves rolling over your body), cyrstal triangle and lots more.
Give your mind and body a treat and join us for our next one on the 4th of April.
