This video somehow brought thousands of women overnight to my labiaplasty video - and I couldn’t work out why.
Then I finally saw the video everyone was tagging me in.
So just to reiterate: no, you definitely cannot give yourself a labiaplasty.
Let’s clear this up properly.

An internal support technique can sometimes be used to help maintain implant position without the use of mesh. This approach uses the body’s own tissues and carefully placed internal sutures, selected on a case-by-case basis. Not everyone is suitable, and technique choice always depends on anatomy, goals, and surgical assessment.

At 9 months post–breast reduction, swelling has settled and scars are continuing to mature. In this case, 1065 g (R) and 990 g (L) were removed to reduce physical symptoms such as neck, shoulder and back pain, bra strap grooving, skin irritation, and limitations with exercise.

It’s now been a full week since my Australia .Ning account was removed.

Over the past seven days, I’ve continued trying to contact someone at TikTok to understand what happened. Unfortunately, I’ve only received automated responses and still no explanation.

For context, that account was built over several years and focused solely on educational plastic surgery content, particularly breast reduction education. There was no graphic material, no warnings, and no prior strikes. Education, risk discussion, and informed decision-making were always the priority.

I fully respect platform rules. What’s difficult is the absence of communication. If there is an issue, I’m more than willing to address it - but there has been no avenue to do so.

This doesn’t appear to be an isolated case. Many medical professionals are experiencing previously approved educational content being suddenly restricted or removed, sometimes years later.

I’m still hopeful this will be properly reviewed.

In the meantime, I’ll continue sharing educational content here. If this becomes the platform where we stay connected, your support truly means everything. ❤️

The advice I give every young woman who tells me she wants to be a surgeon:
1. Surgery is hard and demands discipline, determination, and compassion-but at least you love going to work. I think it would be much harder to do something you didn’t love. So, choose your hard.
2. There’s no ideal time to have children. Have them when it suits your personal life, not your work schedule-you’ll figure out how to make it work.
3. Surgery is a life of service, albeit a highly skilled and specialised one. Lean into that, and you’ll never have to search for purpose. You’ll meet and work with incredible people-something I am always deeply grateful for.

.up.and.grow In the early weeks after breast augmentation, it’s very normal for your breasts to look and feel larger than expected. This is not just the implant itself - your existing breast tissue, skin, and surrounding areas are also swollen as part of the normal healing process. Swelling can affect the breasts, upper chest, and even the sides of the chest wall, and it gradually settles over weeks to months as your body heals and the implants soften and drop into position. Wearing your compression garment as advised is important to support healing, help manage swelling, and achieve the best long-term result.

A 20-year-old patient presented with symptoms commonly associated with disproportionately heavy breasts, including physical discomfort and difficulty with daily activities. After a comprehensive consultation and assessment, she underwent a bilateral breast reduction procedure. A total of 1005g of tissue was removed from the right breast and 901g from the left to improve balance, proportion, and comfort.

At 3 months post-operative, the patient is shown in the early stages of recovery, where swelling has largely settled and scar maturation is ongoing. Many patients at this stage report improved physical comfort and ease with movement, although healing continues to evolve over time. Individual recovery experiences and outcomes vary, and ongoing follow-up remains an important part of post-surgical care.

There’s a common misconception about surgical wait times, so this video is to clarify the process.
