Today, we celebrate World Sight Day 2023 with a focus on the importance of eye care in the workplace

No matter where you are or what job you do, it is important to prioritise and protect your eye health at work.

Follow the 20/20/20 rule: Once every 20 minutes, take a break from the screen for 20 seconds and look at an object 20 feet away.

Wishing our wonderful patients, doctors and staff a very happy lunar new year.

Today, we celebrate World Sight Day. This year we are encouraging all to make a commitment to ; it is important that you are aware of your eye health, and if you can, get a sight test or recommend others do the same.

Nearly everyone on the planet will experience an eye health issue in their lifetime, and more than a billion people worldwide do not have access to eye care services. To address the bigger picture at the country and global level, we need to be aware of our own eye health.

Pledge to have a sight test or care for your eyes and share on social media to encourage others to make the pledge too.

It’s Daffodil Day today, a special day designed to give hope to those affected by cancer and raise much needed funds for life-saving cancer research.

According to Cancer Council Australia, almost 150,000 Australians will sadly be diagnosed with cancer each year, meaning most people will be touched by the disease in some way.

As well as raising awareness and much needed funding, today we recognise all the work that Oncology teams do across Australia.
