🧬 WHAT IS NIPT?
Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) is a simple blood test that screens for common chromosomal conditions like Down syndrome (Trisomy 21), Trisomy 18, and Trisomy 13, as well as s*x chromosome disorders.

💉 HOW DOES IT WORK?
It uses a blood sample from the mother (which contains cell free DNA from the placenta) to determine the chance of a chromosomal condition developing in the baby. It can be done as early as 10 weeks into pregnancy. The result usually takes 5-10 working days.

👶 OTHER INFO
There is no risk to the baby.
NIPT can reveal the baby’s gender if you choose to find out.
It's safe, accurate, and gives many parents peace of mind early on in their pregnancy journey.

🌟 SERVICES SPOTLIGHT - MORPHOLOGY ULTRASOUND 🌟

The morphology ultrasound takes place at around 20 weeks gestation.

The primary purpose of a morphology ultrasound is to assess the physical development and structure of the baby. During the scan, our sonographers check for:

* Fetal growth and size: To ensure the baby is developing properly.
* Organs and body parts: To examine key structures such as the brain, heart, kidneys, limbs, face and spine.
* Amniotic fluid: To check the amount and quality of fluid around the baby.
* Placenta position: To make sure the placenta is positioned correctly for a safe delivery.
* Gender determination (optional): If parents choose, the ultrasound can sometimes reveal the baby’s gender.
