Coaching Kate is a coaches dream as she’s already a high performer! My job was to make a smart plan that was easy enough to follow. She told me about her lifestyle and responsibilities and we created a training schedule that also included her doing Yoga. She kept me in the loop on her training and nutrition in our check ins and I jumped in with the advice and adjustments when needed.

It was easy for me to build a 4 day strength program and nutrition plan that suited her lifestyle and assist guiding her already healthy food choices to adjust to the calories required for her goals. The plan wasn’t to drop her as low as possible. My goal was to empower her to take control of her nutrition long term, not just educating her on the deficit. But how to make her own food choices, build her calories up and maintain her epic results 🔥

My favourite part about coaching Kate was her discovering a whole new side of the gym she didn’t know existed. I love when ladies discover weight training and what it can do for them!

Proud that she could look and feel her greatest and healthiest on her wedding day 🙏🏻

It has been a privilege to be apart of such a special moment in Kate’s life 🫶🏼

This crazy lady Cathie decided she wanted to start running marathons and since then she’s infected so many people around her with her energy to also take up running ✨

How you show up for yourself influences the world around you. Last weekend we had our 2nd annual GC Marathon event and each year more friends are getting infected to join in.

I began coaching Cathie towards the end of last year and we’ve used strength training and nutrition coaching to maximise her run training. Cathie had a run plan and I worked my magic around it to strengthen her body to support her running and keep her injury free and recovering well.

What I’m most proud of seeing is watching her have full faith and trust in me (especially as a female) that food is fuel and she’s been eating 2100 calories throughout most of this run prep.

A strong healthy woman who trusts the process, breaking stigmas around food and leaving her spark every where she goes.
She’s infectious, inspiring and a pleasure to coach. She even inspired me this year to not just support on the side lines but run a 10km myself on the day. 🏃🏼‍♂️

One persons decision to set a goal to work for has created friendships, good times, memories and laughter. Healthy people are happy people. The world needs to be a little more like Cathie in my eyes 🙌🏼

Sunday Mornings are my favourite mornings to convince whatever friends are free to swim, run, gym and move our bodies in some way TOGETHER. The last 4 months I’ve placed a huge focus on connection and moving my body with people that I love and bring me joy. That joy and happiness has flowed into all areas of my life and for the first time in a long time my smiles and laughs feel a lot more genuine, my own confidence is building again and my soul has never felt more alive. 🔥

These are just a few of my favourite people who have jumped in on a Sunday movement and Breaky sesh. I’d be lying if I didn’t say breakfast is my favourite part of it sometimes but regardless I move my body and get it done and have a team of people to push, motivate, hold me accountable to showing up and laugh at me for ordering pancakes when I give everyone strict instructions to not let me order them. 🥞

This is the first “transformation” I’ve done in years where I’ve placed my focus on being happier and moving with friends more often and the results speak for itself.

The next photo is a “progress” pic I took during peak unhappiness at the end of last year and I’m grateful to all my friends and family (not just the Sunday movement squad) who have loved and supported me in every moment and conversation and uplifted me with their actions, words and kindness. Comparing my face alone in the pic I took this morning was all the reassurance I needed that I’m on the right path. The sad part is I didn’t even realise that’s the energy my face was giving off ❤️

Here’s to all the people seeking change and feeling alone. When striving for different you will be alone for a long time until you do it long enough where you will begin to attract more similar and like minded people into your world 🌎

As a coach I’ve helped many people transform their lives through teaching them the skill of weight training and educating them on good nutrition habits and how to identify what they need in their diet to look after their bodies and achieve their goals in the process 🫶🏼

But I’d be a god damn liar to say I’ve got some killer recipes that are fun and healthy to eat when I eat as plain as day (however this is what helps me eat as much dessert as I do).

I am taking final enquiries this week for the New Year Period. Whilst January is the best time to sign on new clients I am a firm believer in quality over quantity. Most gyms and trainers this time of year try to sign on as many people but I’m feeling a huge pull to go inward and focus on what’s in front of me as well as give myself a much needed rest.

Starting a new component of face to face training to my business has been a huge but rewarding task. I am incredibly blessed by the support and how well this new venture has been received and I want my focus and attention to be on my current client base creating the best plans and programs for their unique goals and to continue to find ways to add more value to them.

The energy that goes in to planning for people is a lot which also means I’ll need a bit of down time before getting ready for a huge push again in the new year.

My business success is based on the high standard and reputation I have built and that is something I want to continue to deliver for everyone who currently works with me.

I want to prioritise and be my best for the clients who have supported me from the very beginning and it feels right to improve the quality of what my business gives back to them (and everyone in future) before pushing for more growth in numbers. I am only good as the foundation I build.

I want to feel my best energised self to be able to help every client kick ass and succeed at what they set to achieve for themselves in the New Year. Their success is my success and my clients succeed when I am at my healthiest and most focused.

Work on yourself, find your purpose and attract your people. It won’t come easy but it will be worth it.

For those that answered what does that even feel like? (Scroll to the end) When I feel like this, parts of my life are out of alignment. I’m not aligned with my own actions, friendships, behaviours, relationships or my environment.

My clear signs that I was not in alignment were not feeling like myself, having no passion or purpose, physical symptoms such as poor gut health, mental health or a change to my usual mental state including: anxiety/depression/low self worth or confidence. This could also show up in forms of addiction, and there are many, that can be easier to take master when working on your health.

Learning to listen to my body and over turn those symptoms came from training and good nutrition which kept my body strong, gut functioning optimally and gave me a natural buzz or high that is irreplaceable. These actions and behaviours help me align with who I want to be and how I want to feel.

Think about yourself and what your body is telling you on a deeper level, maybe you are just in a stressful period which will pass, maybe you need to cut off a toxic relationship or learn to communicate and work on a healthier relationship, maybe you need new friends with similar interests to the new version of you or a career change / new job.

Training for me has always been my way of exploring what’s going on internally and creates a spark that motivates me to change the areas in my life that need alignment to be my greatest self. This will always need work and refinement and will for a lifetime as we grow and evolve.

Who you surround yourself with is crucial to this process. Working towards a more aligned life will also help you attract more of the same into your world. I am incredibly blessed to have an abundance of positive people in my life who motivate, love and support me and uplift my energy in every single way.
