From a little girl to a fearless snowboarder, Daneke’s journey shows that life with T1D is about resilience, strength, and thriving on your own terms. 💙

Her message to her younger self:

“Hang in there. It gets easier & lighter. Share your story, be yourself, and you’ll discover more support than you ever imagined.” 💙

Thank you for inspiring us

Keeping your skin happy is just as important as keeping your tech working well. Here are some quick tips:

💧 Before Insertion

• Wait at least 1 hour after showering

• Make sure skin is clean, dry & cooled

• Skip creams/lotions right before inserting — they can affect adhesion

For Sensitive Skin

• Barrier wipes/sprays (like Cavilon™ or SkinPrep™) can help protect skin

• Try gentle under-patches or tapes to reduce irritation

Small tweaks can make a big difference to comfort and wear time.

Because caring for your mind is just as important as caring for your body. 💙

Dexter did an amazing job walking Mr Rebello through his MiniMed™ pump — showing first-hand why access to this life-changing technology matters. 🙌

We’re so proud of our , and grateful to for leading the charge on this vital campaign. 💙
